After several years, I’m excited to announce the release of my new album Ponies Back Home along with the title track video, “Icelandic Ponies.” It’s an album somewhere between country, Americana, and mountain music. It’s an album about love, loss, and moving on. It contains all original songs - some by me, some by my grandmother Ellen Brooks, and one by my father Robin Pasley.
It was recorded by Wesley Easter at Eastwood studios and features many of my closest friends and favorite musicians - many thanks to each of them. Also thanks to Produced By A Girl for distribution and advice.
The album is available for purchase here on Bandcamp:

It should be on all major streaming services but here’s a few links. Any shares, likes or follows greatly appreciated - those are the bread and butter of today’s music world.

The song “Icelandic Ponies” tells the story of my Icelandic grandmother Margaret Peterson and the keeping of a secret that impacted my family for generations. Many thanks to Jill Hannes Beaton for directing the video and Daniel Beaton for editing.
