“Hey Roxas!” The girl in the black coat shouted, her boots echoing throughout the hallways of the Castle That Never Was.

“I got a ‘WINNER’ stick today after my mission! You and Axel weren’t there so I had 3 to myself... I had brainfreeze for a while...” She quickly knocked on his door over and over again waiting for him to come out or speak to her.

“Oh boy.” Xion muttered as a bead of sweat formed on her face. “When I said I wanted some excitement earlier, this wasn’t what I had in mind at all. But I guess it’ll have to do.”

There were currently a bunch of nobodies surrounding her, perhaps some of them even recognizing them from the time when she was on their side. Because they certainly didn’t look pleased.

“Is this the part where you yell ‘Traitor!” at me and twirl around a fancy baton?” Xion snarked as she summoned her keyblade. “Please tell me it is. Because at least then you’ll be worth my time.”

She was about to step forward and engage them when she noticed a figure approaching her. A figure garbed in a similar cloak to her own, which, for the record, she kept wearing even after becoming a human because it was comfy.

“What’s this now? Has the organization finally sent one of their lap dogs to hunt me down and make me pay for escaping my ultimate fate and operating outside of their oh so precious plans? So be it. Just know that I have no intentions of playing your game. I’ve done this dance before.”

She pointed her keyblade at him, its purple blade glistening in the sunlight.

“So let’s just skip the part where you monologue and get to fighting already!”

“Oh?” Aqua opened her eyes and looked off to her left, taking in the form of the man that looked so, so much like Ventus. The warm breeze over Destiny Islands tickled her face like a gentle caress; it was calming, and why she had come there a few days after completing her Dive. A lot of things had come to light during that, all thanks to Xion, frankly, but it had left her with just as much to think about. 

He wasn’t wrong, she reasoned. So many things could have gone wrong in that final fight. She had the memories to prove it. “Yeah, Roxas. You might be right.” There were, of course, other problems. But… for now… things were okay.

-Awww, that’s...well, chances are pretty good Roxas probably just saw other people giving out chocolate and didn’t really understand the context.  Annnnd now Lea has to explain it to him.  ...Somehow.-

-Good thing Roxas didn’t make it himself or this would be super awkward.-

“Hey kiddo, that’s real sweet of you, thanks!  You uh, get anything from any cuties?”

-Please god let him be right that Xion and Olette came through and he didn’t just crack Roxas’s ego like an egg.-

“Roxas? I appreciate what you’re saying but there’s currently more important things to worry about.” Xion said ashe back pressed up against Roxas, the two of them surrounded by a mix of Yellow Operas, Soldiers and a Dual Blade.

“We’ll talk about it later!” She shouted to him, slashing at and destroying a Soldier that charged at her.
