Not to be proud, but this is finally my first spread in bullet journal in 2021. It’s rather minimalistic, I lost my passion to create my own spreads and I’m thinking on buying a planner. Haven’t really done anything productive today except for hosting a meeting for my science club, but I’m getting onto making some flashcards for English class. Also, I have cool socks.

*late post*

Day of productivity - 30/01/19

So this was a very late post... but this was just me going through my notes from a past lecture. I was trying to rewrite it since it was from a group activity and it was very messy. I got myself a mango smoothie and some cereal from home for a snack since I didn’t have breakfast that day. 

I’ve been suffering from procrastination lately. Trying to combat that with the forest app but its not going so well... also trying to fix my sleep schedule. As I’m writing this, its currently 5am. I slept at around 8pm, for like 5 hours so hopefully, I’ll sleep earlier later.

This weeks plan*

This is my plan of action for the next few days or so because I feel that I have not really been productive and I have plenty of deadlines coming up that I want to keep up with and in the meantime, make good use of my time doing the work required rather than procrastinating and wasting my time inefficiently.

Wednesday:   - Print out both mood boards   - Print out poster and catalogue briefs   - label the key elements on the mood board <colour/tone of voice/method/type/message/etc)   - continue on with poster drafts and ideas   - Revise japanese (for test)

Thursday:   - Revise japanese   - Finish poster draft   - Practice folding ideas for catalogue   - Start sketching layout

Friday:   - Japanese exam <part 1> !   Saturday:

  - Finalise folding of the catalogue   - Finish any unfinished poster work  - Catalogue - a digitised version of the draft   - catalogue info (swatch/grid type/text etc)   - Tote bag ideas   - Decide on the method of production for Tote bag

Sunday:   - Ask about file upload to Aula   - Post brand style guides to team blog   - REST DAY :)))))

Monday:   - Finish tote bag   - Have all elements of POSTER/CATALOGUE/TOTE draft finished ready for critique sessions?

School feels super heavy today. Can’t get started, and just wish I was finished. Guess I’m overwhelmed, but I really have a hard time focusing.

“So call it what you want to”

Today was not as productive as I wanted it to be. But I did get a few things done such as making my March monthly spread (still in progress as I’m typing this up). I cleaned up my files in my laptop and just had a chill Saturday. I wish every day could be like this. I thought today was productive but you know, call it what you want.*winks* And I think that’s the beauty of personal goals and tasks. It’s all up to you! Have a great weekend and I’ll be sure to post my March spread soon!

The 18 Hour Planner

As a very busy person who needs to track every hour of my (incredibly long) day, I am always on the lookout for full day planners, but many of the ones I’ve found at used in the past did not allow for a lot of work to be done in the evenings. And while I would love to take evenings off, I usually don’t have the luxury. So for everyone with night classes, closing shifts at work, or just a lot on their plate, I present The 18 Hour planner!

Featuring an hour by hour list, 24 hours worth of pie charts (for those visual people out there: I got you), and places to prioritise your many tasks, this printable will keep you on track! ( I kept it black and white so y’all could decorate it, and for anyone who doesn't have a colour printer or doesn't want to waste ink!)

a quick reminder cuz maybe someone needs it (including me): TAKE A BREAK, EVEN A DAY OFF IF YOU NEED! pls don’t forget about it, about yourself. the idea of being productive all the time, hustling on and on and on can be pretty destructive especially if you’re really ambitious, hardworking or tend to overthink and over-worry. some hours or a single day for yourself won’t make you lose those grades, you’re still gonna pass and catch up with a bit of extra work later. we’re human, not robots - we can’t be 100% focused, striving every day with the same wonderful fast pace.

don’t be hard on yourself if you made plans but can’t complete these tasks like you wanted cuz your body told you “babe, i’m a bit tired, give me some time and i will be better soon, okay?”. this is self love. pls love yourself and listen to your inside. some days are slower, some days aren’t exactly how we wanted them to be but they won’t destroy your vision, i promise <3
