Yellow eyes flicked to the human as soon as he said the word “Guzma.” It didn’t recognize him, didn’t expect him to have any connection to the person it was looking for, but if he could help it find the idiot...he had its attention.

“Yeah well ya hearin’ it now!” the beast called, shooting a threatening glare at one of the assembled police officers. “So go get his stupid ass if y’know him!”

If it could just get to this world’s Guzma, it could work out what timeline it had ended up in upon actually tripping through a wormhole. Not its finest moment, but it didn’t need to tell anyone that this adventure was an embarrassing accident.

It was truly a strange thing to find lying in the grass. Cold to the touch despite being in direct sunlight, the golden stone would feel...alien, somehow, if picked up. Even the very shape of it seemed to resist being held, like it was trying to pull away.

Only a knowledge of Sinnoh myths would offer any insight to this strange object, something supposedly not meant for humanity to find. 

The Griseous Orb.

A flock of Pidgey erupted from the forest nearby in a panic moments before a Pokémon burst out of the trees: a Lucario, eyes closed as if searching for a particular aura.

His eyes snapped open the instant he turned towards Willow and the Orb, giving a low growl as he slowly approached in a ready stance.

“Give...back...” The Lucario’s telepathy was slow and stilted, suggesting he was still learning to use aura for communication, but there was determination behind his words. “Thief!”
