Trope: snowed in

You know, I’ve never been one for the snowed in trope (living in Minnesota has filled me with a lifelong hatred of cold and snow, which makes it remarkable that I still live here) but I would actually adore a everyone-lives Rogue One AU where they get snowed in on some ice planet, except they have supplies and heat and so it’s just a low key time where everyone is kind of resting and recovering and also in the case of Galen and Jyn, awkwardly bonding while very carefully not discussing their respective boyfriends (Bodhi and Cassian) while K-2SO makes very pointed and tactless comments in the way that he always does. And meanwhile Chirrut and Baze are the most married, and everyone is happy AND NOBODY IS DEAD.

Trope: marriage of convenience

AHHH, this is one of my favorite tropes of all time, which is amazing considering I don’t think I’ve ever written it?

So obviously we need to do something with this for Pitch, and I’d love a fic where Ginny had to get married for fill-in-the-blank ridiculous plot reason, except she marries LIVAN, and Mike is so damn grumpy and pissed off about it, his face literally turns into the angry-face emoji whenever the topic comes up.

I’d also love a Ghostbusters fic where Holtzmannn and Patty get married for x reason and Patty is like, “Lord help me” except Holtzmann is a very sweet (if insane) spouse and Patty reluctantly finds herself really enjoying being married to her? 

I’d also pay ACTUAL money for a Good Place AU where Eleanor got caught out and Chidi bursts out, “You can’t send her to the Bad Place, she’s my wife!” and he gets Janet to marry them before anyone can put Eleanor on the train.

This is the first lease I've had in my name only. 

I've lived here since October of 2011, and I'm at the point where I'd like to leaveeeeee.

My toilet has broken in like seven creative ways at this point. 

I smushed a queen size bed into my bedroom despite that being a terrible idea, size-wise, and I have no regrets.

I'm gonna do something cute with my walk-in closet in the next month or so!

Five facts about me right now:- I am wearing a hoodie that has rabbit ears, one of which is currently obscuring my vision but I’m too comfortable to mess around with it. -I am sitting in a little nest of clean laundry that I’ve been making a half-assed attempt at putting away, hoping that by some miracle I’ll be able to find matching socks somewhere in all this mess.-I am listening to the Nutcracker Suite because I was having trouble deciding what movie to watch- I am waiting for a kettle to boil so I can have a cup of green tea- I solemnly swear to study tomorrow.

There's a bruise on her left cheekbone from where John clipped her with his stick out on her rink. Sam hadn't realized how hard he'd gotten her until she went home and her mom shrieked and dropped the salad bowl on the kitchen floor, shattering it into a hundred pieces. It had swelled up during the night and in all the Christmas photos Sam looks like she just got out of a fight, her eye nearly shut from the swelling.

John doesn't know about it until New Year's Eve when he comes over with his family for the usual party. He gets real offended at first, asking who Sam got in a fight with, and when she rolls her eyes and says, "You, you jerk," he looks abashed and steps back. Sam touches her cheek reflexively and wonders what he sees; if he sees the girl he grew up with or the buddy he plays hockey with or -- or something else.

24: Do you have a collection of anything?Yup, I collected shells when I was little (more like, ooooh, pretty shell on the beach!) and rocks too, so I still have a huge fishbowl full of them in my room at home. I don't think books count but I have lots of those too.
