Keeping this up for the third year in a row (x), because it's always a nice way to look back at the big picture of what I actually ended up making over the course of a year. There's some cool stuff missing that I worked on this year... but due to computer issues, I can only grab from what I actually posted online. I'm happy with most of it, but also like... wow my style is all over the place.

What did I get up to in 2021?

1. Spent Christmas and New Year's in the UK.

2. Travel ban continued so in April-May-June I returned home by myself once more, and spent it working on a longer comic project with a collaborator. It's called MASTABA and it will get done eventually!

3. Spent my birthday in the UK again, and finally finished that Curiosity portrait I sketched back in 2018. Also got quite a few commissions.

4. In September we got the word that the USA would be lifting the travel ban in November! Purchased two tickets for myself and @professorflowers and thankfully, everything worked out, and we MADE IT. We're with my parents for the holidays TOGETHER.

5. After stressing about it for over a year, I finally submitted my visa application and am currently awaiting the decision from the UKVI. It's not a visa to move, it would just give us permission to get married in 2022 like we want to!

6. After the End is still in production and we hope to print it in early 2022! We're both looking forward to the new season of Good Omens and hope to see you all there!

This year I've been thinking a lot about what I like doing and what I'm good at, and what the future looks like for me and my art. Two years of ongoing pandemic is no joke, and if you're having trouble managing your mental health, please just know you're not alone. <3

Okay, this is horrifying and it needs to be boosted. Long story short, the poster of this vid and their friends were protesting police brutality, when somebody tried to run them over.

The really appalling part comes from the fact that, while the guy who tried to murder them with his car got the fuck off scott free, one of the folks trying to defend them was hit with some serious charges that could fuck up their life, more or less because the cops are giant babies who don’t like being protested and want retribution.

It was so hard not to post this at 2 am this morning after getting it done because I was excited about it.

But the night before my brain decided to wonderfully chant at me that I gotta draw a companion piece later. You gotta do it. You drew all the au Crowleys so why not draw the respective Aziraphales too? And knowing my fool self I wouldn’t be able to resist my own damn siren call for doing another Leyendecker inspired piece of artwork. The sketched out companion piece in question can be found over here which I am also going to paint. Both of these are going to be painted and all of the boys are going to look so dashing.

ART INCOMING!!!! The wonderful @siriosa (who joined Tumblr just for this) has commissioned artwork for this fic (originally posted in January). Siriosa has been a Constant Reader since shortly after I started posting on AO3, and if you are an author I don’t have to tell you what it means to have long term dialogues with readers and know that there are people who look forward to your posts, save them up to binge, comment regularly.

Siriosa asked the talented @professorflowers to illustrate the moment when Crowley does a bit of performance art to stop Hell badgering him over an assignment he can’t deliver on. Which, of course, involves his angel.  Art will be up soon here and on AO3 (approximately when Copper figures out how to make all the hyperlink stuff work).  Spoiler, so if you haven’t read the fic, go there in the meantime (it’s short).

This is the first art of any of my fics and I’m ridiculously excited -- Professor Flowers is one of my favorite Good Omens artists and the perfect match for this scene.
