Theory: if there was a plot twist of both Lazareth and Ginger having to go back to the underworld, I absolutely think they'd pass each other by and Lazareth would just have the sudden urge to go pet her before reminding himself "??? do you wanna get killed??" Meanwhile Ginger would instinctively walk towards him to jump in his arms before remembering she can't do that anymore. :((

So i have been reading the web toon 'Brimstone and Roses' because i am desperate for some aspec representation in media. I am so desperate that i sit through a romance webtoon even though i am super romance repulsed.

And i got to say, i am very disappointed by the recent episode where they explain asexuality. Dont get me wrong. I love Brimstone and Roses. I love Lazareth. I love that he's ace. But that scene in the pool in which Bea enlightens Laz about asexuality just makes me so angry. Bea keeps talking about love and how 'sad' it is that Laz 'has never been in love'. I know i have said it once but i'll say it again. When we ace people try to explain asexuality, we must stop bashing the aro community and vice versa. I know the author later includes platonic love, but still. Aplatonic aros and loveless aros are a vaild and valuable part of the aro community and i am just so sad that they get stabbed in the back like that. Not everyone wants love, needs love or feels love and an absence of such is certainly not 'sad'. I know the author is also aspec so i am really disappointed that she made the decision to explain asexuality in that way.
