"I'll protect you with my life."

Liz looked up at her professor from the floor. She was cut and bruised as she took care of her sister and Meister that were unconscious. They were in the middle of a mission but they underestimated the enemy. When Liz was about to lose hope, being the only one that was conscious but was badly hurt, Stein arrived.

"Professor..?" she muttered as she stared up at him. The weapon looked back at the enemy that was wrecking the area around it. The statement that her professor had said terrified her. Was he saying that he won’t make it? Will he…die? Sure it seems as the blonde doesn’t care of professor but he was still human and a human that took care of her. He was creepy and got mad at her often but it was only because he wanted her to learn.  He shouldn't be risking his life for a person that didn’t appreciated him.

As Liz thought, Stein had started to walk towards the monster. She gave out a small gasp and tried to reach him with her hand. She was only able to slightly graze his hand with her fingers.

"Be careful."

Letting out a gentle laugh she knew this was his way of saying ‘don’t leave me’. Grabbing a hold of his chair she rested her hand on it, leaning herself down to his eye level before gently smirking “Oh so it is cold out~ Maybe I will just stay here tonight~”  She pushed him back leaning against the computer desk before placing herself onto his lap 

"Maybe we can warm each other up~" Poking her tongue out she couldn’t help but continue her gentle laughter
