Art roundup for May 2026.

One problem I run into is that because I'm offline so much, I have a hard time keeping up with what my favorite artists have been up to without scrolling and scrolling through their page to piece things together.

So I figured I would try using this "monthly art roundup" thing I do as an opportunity to recap what I've been doing recently in one place.

1: I've been trying to figure out how to draw my OCs more, slowly but surely... [Elliot now has freckles!] I'm also trying out a slight redesign for my manticore sona. (Not posted... yet.)

Still making slow progress on the first chapter of [My Name is Zombie.] I worry for my ability to finish a project like this in a way that's sensible and feasible for me. I'm going to try a different way of filling in details so I don't kill my hand. The whole thing is an experiment and a learning process. I finally did some kind of MerMay thing with Rags & RK lol.

2: My story about a workaholic service top daughter pursuing the love of her failing artist mother got a title, ["Call Me Your Number One"] I have a lot of ideas for them.... I want to be able to better connect what's in my head with what my hands can do.

3: I finally started a very self-indulgent fan project I've been wanting to do: a long-form fanfic continuation of Ballmastrz Rubicon with a focus on Tyetaynus and Crayzar's relationship called ["Echoes of Our Past"]!!

I will probably be posting all the art for the first installment here once it's finished. (Because I do indeed plan on doing more art for it...)

Oh, and I also got into making bracelets again. :B

Earlier in the month, I sold [this piece]. Unfortunately, someone on Bluesky stole my name and swooped in to scam the buyer. We got it cleared up and they received the piece, but in the end I was only reimbursed about 2/3 of what it cost to ship it and didn't make profit from the sale. (which is partly my fault due to the shipping method I chose, I wanted it to get there timely and well... what's done is done.)
