For our family hike yesterday we conquered the top of mount Taygetus. I’m immensely proud of all three of us, not least of our little boy. I didn’t so much mind the 5.16’ hike, but I did get freaked out a couple of times and wanted to turn back. As we were near the top though, the husband told me to get a move on. I understand that the locals go up it with closed eyes, but I had to go on all fours to reach the tip and would have been happy to just stay just below it!!
