you're correct about the ages! sports and other clubs are separate from sororities, sororities are kind of like an all girls house. maybe if you watch legally blonde and/or the house bunny, it might be able to explain a little bit more what they are like. with rush, you get interviewed and called back and that type of thing. for me personally, they're a bit weird to me.

Ah, I do need to see Legally Blonde. Uni sure does sound fun in the land of the free :P

oh okay! underclassmen: freshman, sophomores (first & second years), upperclassmen: juniors, seniors (third & fourth years). hmm, i don't know if sororities would be a more relaxed type of club, you have to be accepted into the sorority to be a part of it. it's a huge process!

So you're 18/19 when you're an underclassman and 20/21/22 (depending on birthdays) as an upperclassman? We have like more societies I think, but I'm talking like cheerleading and dance which I would think you audition for, but then there's like chess ect. I know usually we have to pay for those too I'm pretty sure. I dropped out so I'm not really up on it all, aha

a sorority is like a club thing. so, sororities (for girls) and fraternities (for guys) relate to "greek life", and they usually do fundraisers and other activities. the period where you apply is called a "rush". you pay dues and have to dress nice and do activities. upperclassmen would be "bigs" and underclassmen would be "littles" and every big has a little to be a mentor to. idk, i don't really like them nor care, but i hope that helps! also, google, youtube & wikipedia might be helpful too!

Aaah okay, I don't know what upper and underclass men are though, we don't use words like that for years. I think we have similar stuff with our clubs you can join at uni here though, cause they go on trips together and compete (if it's that kinds, dance or whatever) so yeah
