I just made an appointment with my father to meet up and watch Project 4K77, the 4K scan of the original Star Wars 35mm film print. Since we’re going to watch it with a projector, not on a TV, this should be an almost identical projection to the original theatrical experience. The exact same content as 45 years ago.
He saw the original theatrical release back in 1977.
I can’t believe we’re going to get to watch this together now.
