I've decided to leave Project AFTER online through the end of January, 2018. Anyone who cares has until then to archive anything they'd like to keep.

Do you know of any other sites or blogs that make fun of bad fanfiction?
Nope, not one. Project AFTER is the only website in existence where you can get your fanfiction mocking needs met and anyone who says otherwise is a filthy godless liar. Don’t forget to support me on Patreon.
Is Project AFTER dead?
Unfortunately, no. That site is a tumor I’ve thus far been unable to remove from my brain. My creative energies are focused elsewhere at the moment, but there’s definitely more I want to do with PA. I’m not ready to switch off the lights just yet.
If you’re talking about the forums specifically, they appear to be hanging in there. Traffic and post frequency have always been cyclical, and early-to-mid summer usually sees the numbers dipping lower than at any other time of year. As to whether or not things will pick up to where they were 2-3 years ago, I don’t have a definitive answer for that. In the past, I’ve responded to every slump in activity by playing circus music and riding out on a unicycle while juggling chainsaws in an attempt to motivate folks to post more and keep the community thriving. I won’t be doing that this time. I’ll still be around to steer the ship and join in any conversations that pique my interest, but I’ve resolved to leave the boards’ fate in the hands of the users. Because ultimately, it’s all of your time spent that keeps us alive. Every time we’re down, you can make it right. And that makes you larger than life.
Oh god, I sleep in for one Saturday, and we got a fucking ignoramus on Project AFTER and a BOMB THREAT hit the SJP Airplay discussion.\
Absolutely fucking priceless.
Things you disagree with the majority of the forum members on?
We have very different opinions regarding how often people should shower their favorite forum admin with gifts of praise and monetary tributes glorifying their many accomplishments. I think once or twice a week is appropriate, whereas the majority of the PA Forums’ users seem to think fucking never is good. It’s fine, though. They want to play that game, we can play the hell out of that game.
My friends at PA are riffing Bob Chipman's book, "Super Mario 3: Brick by Brick." Read it and weep for humanity. This is what I mean by "Not even Bob Chipman likes Bob Chipman."
Read it. It's glorious and makes more sense than what we have now.
