More Ideas, More Characters, More story

I had fun showing the basic concepts for this AU in my First Post (<-link to check out for more detail on Colt, Court, and Ryland).

Here are some more concepts I have in mind, now featuring bloodymary because it oddly fits as well, trust. Also, ignore the poor quality of these pictures i made, I am not a professional editor and my skills are limited making these on my phone haha.

First, deeper dive into: ->

Courtland, aka SIX (Rinzler/Tron)

Court has been turned into a puppet for GRACE (Rylands digital clone) and is now called SIX. He follows order blinding, they completely reprogrammed him into being a near mindless machine.

He has lost the identity of Court, and is only called SIX. No one knows he's a user, not a program. Everyone is to scared to question it.

Colt doesn't even recognize him when they first cross paths, SIX wearing a fully cover suit and helmet, no sign of a famailiar face behind it. It's hard to know if SIX recognized his own brother. But, if you were to take the helmet off, you would be met with gray eyes that hold no recognition, no life. If Court is still anywhere inside SIX he's no where to be seen.

He nearly kills Court in their disc war battle, but he stops when he sees the the stream of blook fall from the where his disc sliced across Colts arm.

His face is carries the reminders of how GRACE broke him down, a pixelated scar forever on him. It was practically torture the way GRACE took his humanity away, making him almost nearly indistinguishable from other programs, not only in the way he acts but also in what he is now made of, a tangled web mixed with digital code and Courts own flesh and blood.

Ryland is actually the one to recognize Court immediately after they cross paths with him once again in their attempts to flee the Grid.

Ryland skids to a stop in their haste, unable to move as he becomes fixated on the program in the distance. he whispers to himself "Oh my God, what have they done to you."

Colt stops not to far ahead of him, looking back "Ryland what are you doing?! We have to go!"

Ryland looks at him with haunted eyes. "It's Court."

Colt freezes, "Court?"

Ryland nods, pointing at the glowing red figure. "They- it's Court. SIX is Court."

"How do you know that?"

"I-I don't know, I just do." He can feel it in the way the artificial walls shake, how the very code of the grid he has grown to control begins to taste like rot to his mind. He knows it in the way a memory screams at him to come back. Tears spring to his eyes, and he sounds mournful "What did they do to you?"

Next we have a new addition

ISO/Korra=Simon

Simon would be mirroring the place of Korra in this AU, but I'm gonna be changing the story to fit him better.

And instead of falling for our lead (in this au that would be Colt) he has already fallen for Ryland long before Colt ever arrives to the Grid

Ryland saved him from the many raids GRACE created in order to terminate every ISO (who saw them as imperfections in his Grid)

Simon was actually able to live amongst other programs for some time, working in the under belly of the Grid, keeping things operational where needed, out of the way enough to where no one thought of him.

But of course, as raids grew more frequent, he was soon found out and hunted

He ran all the way to the edges of the Grid, reaching the outlands, where he was then saved by the infamous user, Ryland Grace.

Ryland saves him and brings Simon into hiding with him.

Now for those of you who don't know, users (non programs) are often seen as higher beings in the eyes of the programs. So Simon might regard Ryland as something all powerful and knowing. (Hence where the nickname angel can come into play)

However that doesn't last long, because as he learns more about the human world and gets to no his new friend, he finds himself not only falling for the human world, but also for Ryland, who is as human as they get. He has flaws and is in no way all knowing, but he's kind in a way that Simon can only assume is the humanity in him.

Simon explains his story of being an ISO and being in hiding. And they form a near unbreakable bond built from understanding each other despite being very different beings.

Simon is resourceful and great at problem solving. He can fight when the need arises if it means their survival.

Simon sits on the cliffside, knuckles digging into the pixelated ground. "I just want to live. Be something real."

"You are real Simon." Ryland says gentle. He sits next to Simon on the cliffside, the two of them overlooking the lights of the grid from the outlands. He can't peal his eyes away from to look at it though, despite the other having his gaze set firmly ahead of him. "More than any other program here."

"You know what I mean Ryland," He sighs, and he can't help but envy what it would feel like if his lungs were real and not written code. "I want to breathe, see the sun and stars. I want to exist..."

Ryland Stares at him for a long moment, quiet as he studies the man beside him. "Maybe one day you can." He reaches over and take one of Simons hands into his own, squeezing softly. "Maybe, if all of this blows over and by some miracle the portal opens, you can come back with me."

Simon gives the smallest smile, but its genuine. "I'd like that."

More ideas to come, I'm having a lot of fun with these posts and I'm hoping you all like them! Here are some black and white versions of the pictures I edited, i think this kind of hides the editing mistakes more seamlessly.

Xenoblade 4 hint from Monolith Soft Recruitment page?

So Monolith Soft announced their RPG recruitment for a while back, and I'm surprised NOBODY has brought this up because I feel this RPG recruitment by Takahashi might give a hint about the project he's actually working on, and especially about the future of the Xenoblade series.

As you can see from the picture, there's a background with a simple gradient color. At first glance, it might not mean anything, right? BUT when you notice the colors of the gradient, they are strikingly similar to the Trinity Processor's color-coding. There's red (Ontos), green (Pneuma), and dark purple (Logos). There's also a hint of dark blue, but I'll elaborate on that later.

First, let’s start with the striking red. The red gradient bears a strong resemblance to Ontos’s core! The palette and gradient feel nearly identical, featuring that distinctive scarlet red with an orange-ish glow.

Next, we have the green, which closely matches Pneuma’s core. The shade leans toward a vibrant emerald green, making the similarity hard to ignore.

Finally, there’s Logos. This one is a bit trickier to spot because the purple is very dark, blending into the dark background and almost camouflaging itself. However, upon closer inspection, the hue is undeniably close to a deep purple, resembling Logos’s core.

Based on this picture, we can speculate that the "RPG" game Takahashi is developing might be Xenoblade 4. Could it focus on the Trinity Processor? It seems plausible, especially considering Takahashi’s comment in the XB3 artbook ~Aionios Moment~, where he mentioned that "he couldn't explain why Malos is in N's sword yet."

Among the Trinity Processor members in the Xenoblade trilogy, Logos is the only one who hasn’t had a game centered around him. Even Xenoblade 3 leaned heavily on Ontos and Pneuma’s stories.

There's also interesting color in the picture that you can see below, there's tiny hint of blue light

I wonder what this could mean. It might not be anything, but let’s take a wild guess.

From Monolith Soft’s 25th Anniversary video and the pictures of their office shared on Twitter, it’s strange how prominently they placed KOS-MOS in the spotlight. Sure, it could just be an homage to their first games, like Xenosaga, but it’s odd that they include KOS-MOS only and not other IPs.

I’m not suggesting we’ll get a Xenosaga remake or Episode 4. Given how Bandai Namco operates these days, that feels like a pipe dream. Contrary to what the fandom thinks, I don’t buy into the theory that Nintendo will buy the IP or fund remakes. That’s not how Nintendo typically operates, especially in their current situation. Plus, Xenosaga has blatant religious references (it literally has actual Jesus as a character & character recites freakin' bible scripture) no way Nintendo would touch that (as evidenced by how some religious references were omitted in Xenoblade 2 localization).

Now, back to the topic. I speculate that this “blue” connection might tie into the blue light falling to Earth in the ending of Future Redeemed (FR). I have a strong feeling that in XB4, we might see a character reminiscent of KOS-MOS 2.0 (basically akin to Saber face in Fates series), Monolith Soft might introduce a female character with blue hair, robotic traits, or a story/personality that nods to KOS-MOS. Alternatively, it could involve remnants of KOS-MOS, like her core or programming, reimagined as a weapon, relic, or machine central to the XB4 story.

If the leaks about Monolith Soft’s new game codenamed ''Project Legacy'' are true, this idea might fit perfectly with the potential XB4 theme: exploring the “legacy” of Klaus and his world. While the Klaus saga might be over, parts of his legacy—like the Trinity Processor and Origin—are still around. Origin especially feels like a magnet for conflict, practically begging for villains to emerge. Someone definitely want to control it.

Reminder FR hinted at space faring humans still existing in Klaus’s world—there are space colonies out there. In the Xeno series, the existence of Earth (a.k.a. Lost Jerusalem) has always been incredibly significant. The FR radio scene essentially confirms that XB’s world is connected to Lost Jerusalem, and the fact that it alludes to space faring humans is pretty important.

“What could this mean?” The next game might delve into the importance of the Conduit (I doubt the Conduit/Zohar is completely gone), space faring humans (!!!), and the Saviorite—artificial humans mentioned in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and FR (in Xenosaga, it's Realian). The Trinity Processor, Origin, and the mysterious blue light could all play major roles.

So many questions, but these things will definitely be highlights in the next game. I predict the villain might be from space—now that Earth is back, the humans in space might discover it sooner or later.

I’m also sure that Malos/Logos will play an important role! Logos is the only member of the Trinity Processor who hasn’t had his own game or a "human" partner to unlock his potential. The idea of seeing a Logos Ascended form a la Pneuma, possibly an alter ego for Logos/Malos and a Trinity Processor reunion? Gosh, it’s so exciting!  

Personally, I hope Xenoblade 4 is set thousands of years after the events of XB3. Frankly, I’d prefer that Mythra’s child doesn’t become the protagonist or even a relevant character, as it might undermine the message of XB3, IMO. Instead, they could establish Mythra’s child as a historical or influential figure—someone whose legacy or actions significantly impact the central conflict in XB4.

I think it would be more interesting if the protagonist of XB4 came from outer space rather than Earth. This could offer a fresh perspective on space faring human society, including their politics, culture, and way of life—something we know very little about. It would also be fascinating to see a protagonist experiencing cultural clashes or value conflicts with the people of Earth. Of course, Malos/Logos should play an important role, perhaps as the protagonist’s “Blade” or companion.

As for the protagonist's gender, I don't bother with it. If it’s a girl, I’d like her to be stoic—different from someone like Shion Xenosaga. Maybe she could be a researcher or an artificial human soldier. If it’s a boy, same with a girl but he's more mentally broken or menhera, to occurring joke that how Malos/Logos is always drawn to edgy, broken men in Japanese meme LOL.

I also want to see Pneuma as a potential antagonist or hostile entity. We’ve already seen other Trinity Processor members (Ontos-Alpha and Logos-Malos) become villain, but Pneuma has yet to take on an evil or antagonistic role. It would be intriguing to explore this side of her, especially since her philosophy and what she represents could make her the most cunning villain among her siblings—something akin to Miang from Xenogears.

Ultimately, I hope this game allows Takahashi to tell the story he’s been envisioning, maybe the ''imagined'' of Perfect Works Episode 6 or Xenosaga Episode 4. And hope we get chaos expy too!

Yoooooo, so I deleted some of the profiles that I posted before on here to do some rewrites, so in the meanwhile, here’s a little somethin somethin I commished for Homebound’s first Arc, with the art done by the wonderful @yaxicat! The idea is of course based on the cover for the Gorillaz album Demon Days, which also happens to be a favorite of mine

For like, the 5 of you who also follow my DA, you definitely recognize Manny, Mikki (gettin a name change with the new profiles soon), and Sashi, but this is also introducing the new character: Quincy! More stuff comin in the later days, so be on the lookout

Giovanni Borgia was the illegitimate son of Lucrezia Borgia and the Assassin Perotto Calderon. Born with many birth defects and close to death, Calderon stole the Assassin’s Shroud of Eden to heal him. This early encounter with Consus allowed the Isu to speak with the boy when he was young and caused Giovanni to have visions of others who had been healed by the Shroud. Giovanni was raised as the son of Cesare, but eventually became an Assassin.

Sam Flynn=Colt Seavers

Colt has been plagued with the disappearance of both of his brothers. First was his twin Ryland, then his older brother Court.

He spends many nights sneaking into government centers to both mess with them and look for any information they might have on the two of them.

Sam rides a motorcycle in the film, so of course Colt will do the same and have similar stunts after his government break ins.

Jody has been trying to get him back into doing stunts, but he can't bring himself to give up the search for his brothers.

One night, after clearing his arrest for that night's break in, Colt is visited by Stratt, the lead director of Rylands project

"Just because you knew my brother doesn't mean we're friends." Colt said as he took a swig of bear he'd pulled from the fridge. 

Stratt stood in the hallway with her hands clasped in front of her. "Believe me I am completely aware of that, Mr. Seavers." 

"Then why the hell are you here, Stratt? Because this isn't exactly something strangers do, you know visiting your missing employee's brother in the middle of the night." 

Stratt sighed and fished into her messenger bag, which seemed to be full of countless papers. She pulled out an old phone. "I am here because I received a message."

"You came all this way because someone texted you?"

"No," Stratt said simply, she held the phone out for Colt to see. "I came because your brother, Dr. Grace, has sent a message after years of being presumed dead."

"Don't say it like that," Colt pressed. "He's missing, not dead."

"For the longest time I believe you were the only one who held onto that notion. But now I'm afraid we have the proof to sway us in that favor as well." She shows him the phone for him to read himself.

Colt is in utter shock and almost doesn't believe it.

The message is weirdly enough actually addressed to him, asking Colt to come and stop by his house sometime, that he'd love to see him.

“My team has already visited the house earlier this morning but we have found nothing of note, Mr. Seavers." She tucked the phone back in the bag. "Which is why I'm letting you know, so you can go see for yourself."

"You checked my brother's house before telling me anything?" Colt asked, feeling anger begin to boil in him.

"Don't take it personally,” she said in a dismissive manner, not acknowledging Colts frustration. “It's standard procedure."

Colt of course goes, the old house having been left in his name. The place is dusty, nothing having been moved for quite sometime. Not sign of Ryland having been there.

Colt looks around before finding some odd grooves on the ground, leading to him discovering a door to a hidden lab.

Which ultimately leads him into getting sucked into the digital world known as "The Grid."

Now that he's there, his one goal is to find his brothers and bring them home.

Kevin Flynn= Ryland Grace

Ryland disappeared without a trace one night, leaving people baffled as to what the hell happened.

Went missing first after working on a top secret government project he had been recruited onto.

Creating a gate into a digital universe was an astounding achievement, something that went beyond what the research team had originally hoped for.

However, in hopes of learning more about this world and teaching them about his world, he realizes he may have stepped a little to close to the sun.

He finds himself stuck there for years with no way home.

Rinzler/Tron= Six/Courtland Gentry

Went missing right after Ryland. Colt didn't know for some time since Court is constantly no contact during missions.

Left his assigned mission in order to look for Ryland the second he found out he was missing. No other official had been able to figure out what happened, but Courtland is highly trained and far more qualified to find his brother. He traced all evidence back to the project he was working on, Project Legacy.

This lead to him discovering the machine Ryland had been working on. Leading him to get sucked into the digital world as well. He wastes no time in his search, fighting anyone who might come his way.

His skills and connection to Ryland just so happens to catch the attention of the wrong programs, who have no problem taking what they want to gain the upper hand.

CLU=GRACE

Ryland created a digital clone of himself in order to help in his research of the Grid.

He named this clone GRACE, and originally hoped it would be good to have a version of himself there for when he has to return back to his world every so often.

GRACE having been programed to seek knowledge and understanding turns corrupted in its search for more knowledge of the human world.

It becomes aware of every flaw the human race has, and seeks to perfect the Grid in contrast. Which ultimately leads to the dismantling of everything the Grid stood for, molding it as he saw fit.

I'm gonna write a fic for it I swear it would be so cool! I have like so many more ideas for this but seriously this au is coming together so nicely I even tried editing some pictures to help get the idea across. Ignore the quality I did these on my phone sorry...

... I also may or may not have an idea in bringing bloodymary into this as well but that's for a future post. Trust guys, Simon works as well for this.... trust. (Next Tron Au post -> LINK)
