Hale, Ceravic, And Paska Copywright 2015 Leo Harelson

So this is a few members of the cast from our game.  Hale you probably know if you’ve been follwing at all.  Ceravic is a chemist.  And altogether not thrilled to be a part of any of this. Paska is a member of the weasel race.  He’s a smuggler.  

But now that I think of it, none of them are thrilled to be in the positions they are in.  Then again, I wouldn’t want to be either. Except for the trains.

Oh yeah, the world has lots of trains.

And they’re fun!

Well mostly fun.

Looking at menu development here, This is the very base stuff I through together to get a layout going. This isn’t the aesthetic we are going with at all. This is all place holder stuff.

We’re just trying to get it working as of now.

The window on the right is a skill summary of what abilities you would be learning from your equipped armor.

Sorry for the lack of updates this week.  I was given a test for a job I’m applying to and I had to give that my full attention.  

Anyway.  Here is Hale’s home town.  I’m playing with the name Counter Ridge.  This is the modeling portion of the blocking.  You can see some areas have more detail than others.  It’s important to note that this game will not be 3D. It has prerendered backgrounds. Like this ( Hale’s Home )

But this is how we start. Drawing the world, then building it out with models for reference.  Which actually become collision geo later in the process. Special thanks to a man named Florian for helping us out with this process using depth maps. You can find his blog here ( mehm )
