I hc that WPNZ hates being so openly vulnerable because of the way he's seen, raised and grown. Whenever he wants to feel small or soft its in private either alone or with Mr. Puzzles, refusing anyone outside see the hidden yearning for being loved. He'd probably be outright defensive and deny he's capable of such things in a joking snarky manner to hide that void in his chest that is only recently being filled by Puzzles. Even then, Puzzles is the only one who can really reach in there and soothe him in the ways he's been secretly wanting for so long.

You're right. It's why he's all the more lucky to have his boxhead around.

Context: dude gets sooooooo upset when he tries to host a vc and im stuck at work. There are threats thrown usually.

Theres something haunting I noticed in Creative Control that not a lot of people seem to point out. When he's singing the verse about cutting his head off, you can see a five fingered gloved human hand reach for the saw. And that's clearly not Puzzles' model. Im sure the animators had their reason to use a normal human for the scene but looking at it deliberately, it implies he canonically did do more modifications to himself. Thats the only scene in the whole series where we see a human model used to represent him and it was about his past. Freaky stuff!

Huh, I never actually thought of that! I’d considered Puzzles to have made adjustments after he transferred himself to his cyborg body, but never really tinkered with the idea of him modifying his human body while he still had it.

That’s a really neat detail, actually!

What is Mr WPNZ' and Mr Puzzle's favorite weapon in splatoon?

I personally hc WPNZ being a Hydra or Nautilus main, while Puzzles mains one of the brellas or brushes

Hydra and Nautilus 57 seems pretty accurate for WPNZ, yeah. I think he’d like a lot of the heavier weapons, compared to Puzzles, who typically goes for the lighter ones. Hydra Splatling and Nautilus are WPNZ go-tos but I think he’d also enjoy playing the E-liter weapons.

I can see Puzzles being a Sorella Brella, Painbrush or Luna Blaster main. I think he’d like the ink brush, but gets too dizzy with its speed and ends up panicking too much when it’s time to splat another player.

What were your thoughts when it was implied that WPNZ had/has siblings during a small interaction with Katie in one of the episodes?

I thought it was very interesting! I’ve always thought WPNZ’ “siblings” were failed models that ended up built into him, so he never got to know them.
