Sorry for the lack of posts recently. My life has been consumed by this. I am proud of finishing, finally. At 8.5"x11" this is the largest traditional piece I have finished in a while. The shimmer doesn't really show up on camera, but he is absolutely dripping in gold. Done in a combination of marker, cut paper, finetech metallic pan gouache, home made opaque gold ink, and gold and violet pearlex pigments. My hands now shine like I have the Midas touch.
