If something doesn't work like it's suppose to it will drive Gideon crazy until he can fix it. Even really insignificant things like a door not closing properly will occupy his mind 24/7 until he figures out what got out of whack.

Occasionally, especially if it's something he can bring to his work desk, he will forget to take a break. He has worked through entire nights before just to fix one thing. One time, he was fixing Kremy's pocket watch and accidentally skipped dinner. Worried Kremy sick, until he found out he was just really focused. Then Gideon got a talking to and had to promise to never do that again.

Gideon leans into the whole "big dumb idiot" thing, cause folks are gonna assume that about him anyway, but he wishes people saw him as smarter. Learning from books doesn't come naturally to him, but once he gets his hands on something *real* he'll have it figured out quick. People don't really give him the chance, though. It makes him feel a little bad, like he's too stupid to be let in on things or give input on anything.

Rarely does Kremy Lecroux *want* to feel bad about something. That's probably true for most people, but Kremy experiences that even less. He hates feeling guilty, it gets in the way of good ideas.

But after Twig died, he wanted it to eat him alive. He wanted to feel like pure fucking garbage for essentially whining and bitching so much that their friend was convinced she had to risk her life for his hat. Even outside of that, they wouldn't be here if Kremy didn't get them all in a shitload of debt, and so without that she'd be happily tending to her inn, alive.

But he wasn't feeling as bad as he should have been. He's never been the most empathetic of people, but shit, he thought he cared if his friends lived or died. It's not that he didn't care about her, it's not that he thinks her death was unimportant, and it's especially not that he wants Gideon to feel like shit. It's just hard for some fucking reason, like there's a cog that's supposed to be turning that rusted some years ago.

He doesn't even really know *what* he feels, exactly.

Frost cannot tell when he is hungry or thirsty. He very much depends on his friends' eating schedule to tell when he should eat. Sometimes he will meditate well into lunch or dinner time by accident, in which case Gricko will bring him a plate so he doesn't forget altogether.

Lizardfolk, having common ancestors with regular reptiles, are more prone to back, joint, and hip pain due to their anatomy being used to being on all fours.

That being said, chronic pain didn't have to hit Kremy at the ripe age of 8.

Its mostly back pain, though he does have a leg injury from his childhood (thanks, Kermy) which makes his cane less of a prop and more of a necessity if he's walking long distances. And of course the standard hip pain, that came with age.

He's never not known pain, really. Maybe fate sought to punish him for the sins he was bound to commit, he'd say if he believed in that sort of thing. It's more likely just genetics and back luck.

not a headcanon i just really like trans man kremy. And gideon. They are T4T. Kremy looks practically identical to his pretransition self he’s just more comfortable with his presentation/ flamboyancy and lets himsellf dress more feminine when he wants to. He also talks about his pre transition as is he actually murdered a woman. Like she/her pronouns bur also “she’s dead now” type stuff

This is also my hc. I love them being t4t because not only is it Hell Yeah Trans Hc but also the potential for both angst and hilarity. Gideon never says he's trans because he doesnt think its all that interesting so one day he's just like "yeah before I was a guy-" and Kremy just goes "????"

Gideon may also have thought Kremy legitimately killed a woman before they both realize the other is trans and it gets cleared up.

But also yesss with Kremy being able to explore his interest of femininity as a guy. A lot of people get so mean when a transmasc person wants to wear a dress like?? I thought we were past this. It doesn't make someone less valid just because they still enjoy aspects of a culture that is designated as "feminine", its like an entirely different ballgame to put on a dress as a non-woman than when you are in the closet, for some anyway (its also valid if you dislike doing so either way! Let nobody tell you how to dress)

This also goes for Gideon because I love drawing big hairy men in dresses. Whether he's trans or not is an aside to this and just adds a different layer to the beautiful cake that is men in dresses. Explore your love of dresses and drag in a manly way my beloved.
