When it is almost the end of week 2 of daycare/"school" for your 3 year old and she still cries hysterically & clings to you for dear life each morning at drop-off because she would rather go sit at work with you or tell you to quit and stay with her, you go find matching lockets and put a family photo inside so she knows that she is always in your heart and Ang & I are always with her in hers. Unfortunately, the illness that struck the kiddos so fiercely last week, tried to take me down as well. I’ve not eaten but a handful of saltine crackers and sips of Coca Cola (which soothes upset stomachs btw) for the past few days, but when your husband organizes a day of sailing...something he’s been looking forward to for a long time...you suck it up, put on a strong face, and continue to will the illness away. Staying connected has been so key for us. Keeping the hubs a top priority helps me to be a better mama. Workout of the day for mom: Run to stairs do 5 sets. Up and down stairs twice is 1 set. 40 push-ups total. 200 abs total. 40 squats total. 30 tricep dips with bench. 20 squat jumps total. 20 lunges, 10 each side. You can split up and do like ten at a time. Run back home. (About a mile) Stretch. Weigh in day tomorrow looking to be at 130! 💪🍌🏃👟
