horizontally, we’ve got my Wardens --> to my Hawkes --> to my Inquisitors, or, if you’re so inclined, a whole bunch of randos from my Darkest Timeline (where everyone exists together). as usual with these render projects, Nola Mahariel and Marian Hawke (4 and 2) blew me away, but I also can’t stop staring at Ori (3).

Irene Amell - indentured alongside Redcliffe’s mages; Spymaster Nightengale’s consort.

Marian Hawke - pirate queen; effed off with Isabela and the Tome of Koslun

Ori Lavellan - Orlesian city elf, spy for Briala, member of Bull’s Chargers, and beautiful corpse.

Nola Mahariel - ran away from the Wardens; pursued by an assassin; snogged him good and traveled the world

Ann Hawke - made Tranquil by the Inquisition

Vinya Lavellan - Inquisition-conscripted solider (and eventual deserter alongside Blackwall)

Augustine Cousland - Forcibly married to Thomas Howe; joined Wardens; became a slave to Corypheus, and was killed in mercy by her lover, Jean-Marc Stroud

Mary Hawke - gave up her sister, Ann, to the Templars; murdered by Ann, and died in Sebastian’s arms after the destruction of the Chantry

Ma’ven Lavellan - a healer for the Inquisition.

🌿 What way does your OC show that they care without using words? What way do others show your OC that they’re cared about without using speech?

With the truly cherished, she prioritizes little needs as much as the big ones. Picking up a new toothbrush from the nearest space convenience store becomes as important as a galaxy-wide treasure-hunt in search of the perfect date night. In fact, Archie usually remembers the little things when others have forgotten. It’s mother-hen-ish, but Archie is so laid back that no one notices.

As for showing Archie that they care, someone could do anything that suggests something long-term was in their future.

💫What is your favourite fact about this character and why?

My fave fact about Archie is that she was constructed by the TVTropes Character Generator. She was completely random in her traits and mannerisms, meaning I had to adapt to writing her in a way I’d never done before. Not all of her aspects are things I’d have chosen, some of them probably don’t come out as well as they should, but this means of making a character was (and is) super enjoyable, and I’ll be doing it going forward with other OCs. In fact, I’ve got five OCs ready to be dropped into whatever setting. Using this generator makes the flaws, biases, and patterns in your character creation pretty damn evident, which is also super interesting.

ProjectOC is complete! I started this last year because my characters have a tendency to suffer from Same Face Syndrome, and I wanted to work on that. Some of them are supposed to look similar (ie the Hawkes and Inquisitors, due to how I HC my canon world state coming into existence), but overall I’m pretty happy. My Cousland looks like a fucking Barbie, and Marian Hawke turned out to be my surprise fave.
