Since I went to bed at 6 am and woke up at 10, I am fading fast. So let's wrap this day shall we? Here is a last shot for today, of the latest incarnation of #ToneHenge™ incorporating the new #tweed #Princeton (left...the yellow one), and bringing​ the '63 #DeluxeReverb (right, bottom) back into the fold. It had been in the other room serving as a set piece for my photos for the last few weeks. The dynamic duo (1965 #VibroChamp and #Vibrolux #Reverb) are still in the same spot, although you may notice that I have removed one rack of 3 #guitars to squeeze in the #Deluxe. My 1964 #Fender #5F1 "transition" #Champ (which according to @gavinhornsey looks like a basic #ProJunior! Cheeky sod, him! 😁) now sits on the Deluxe, and I should be able to also sit the '57 5F1 tweed Champ beside it when (if?) it comes back from long term loan to the @desmo_damo collection of St Jacob's #Ontario. Now...don't bug me for the next 12 hours...I'll I be fast asleep! For another obscure character fanart, this one suggested by my friend @thehungryreader, it’s ProJunior!

A super obscure underground comix character created by Don Dohler, the character was basically his mascot for his small Mad fanzine, and later used by a bunch of different artists ala a proto-Open-Source character, kinda like Octobriana or Michael Moorcock’s Jerry Cornelius.

Though, IDK about the guidelines around using him now, or whether he had the same lapse-ing that happened to fellow comix character Trashman (Who I also need to draw one of these days), buteither way, they were fun to draw, especially in this sorta goofy pastiche of the old Mickey Mouse cartoon titlecards.

畑中葉子な気持ち・・・・ #takumiitou #itoutosouten #fakeworksdesignfactory #fakeworks69 #kanaya #shimada #shizuoka #japan #nippon #boss #fv50 #h #l #behringer #digitalreverb #dr100 #dr600 #fender #projunior ２０年近くリバーブ搭載のアンプしか使った事がなくて、常に薄くかけている事が殆どなので、Projuniorを手に入れての違和感は音質以上に、リバーブのあるなしではないかと・・・・。 そこで、何故か手元にあったリバーブ２台にヴォリュームペダル２台。デジタル、しかも、コンパクト、更に、お安い・・・・の三拍子揃ってしまうリバーブですが、これ以外に繋げないので、想像していたより音の劣化がない。元々の音がアンプの大きさや見た目に反比例した様な音なので、全く気にならないと言って良い。 やはり、リバーブはかかっていた方が艶っぽくて良いですね。 そして、ヴォリュームペダルはマックス（個人的な好みの）音量で使えない時に使用したらいかがかと・・・・。ギター本体のヴォリュームを絞る事とは違って入力の音量を絞る事になるのでしょうが、メサに付いているリミットという機能と同じ感じかな？ 問題はリバーブの後ろから？前から？のどちらにヴォリュームペダルをつけるかですが、これには意味がある（らしい。詳しくはしらん。ペダルもそれによって違うらしいし、アンプによってはインプットも変わる・・・・らしいで、よう知らんけど・・・・。）のです。ただ、私の様にエフェクターを殆ど使用しない場合は好みになるんじゃないかしら。個人的には最後にヴォリュームペダルをつける方が音的には好みだが、バンドのスタイルによって使い分けをするのであれば、真ん中にリバーブを挟み込む形で使用するのが一番な気がしている。実際にバンドでprojuniorを使うならペダルは使わないと思うけどね。 因みに『畑中葉子』がわからないお友達は、お父さんやおじさんに聞いてみよう！

この辺りが美味しいところかな？ #takumiitou #itoutosouten #fakeworksdesignfactory #fakeworks69 #kanaya #shimada #shizuoka #japan #nippon #fender #projunior #amp #guitar 歯医者に行って、業者が来るまでの間、ご近所全てが留守とわかり、限界まで出してみました。 ヴォリュームは大体２時の位置がちょうど音量の限界。これ以上は音量が上がると言うより、歪む感じが強いかな？この位置だとちょうどドライブ感が気持ち良いかな？トーンに関しても１０時の位置が好き。どっちも好みだけど、僕はヴォリュームを１０時、トーンを８時から９時の間ぐらいが好み。バンドで使うなら少し弱いので、２時･１０時がベストかもしれません。 後は味付けで何を加えるか？ですが、少し考えている事があるので、また、週末にでも試してみます。
