They told us it was a national effort. They were lying.
While we were in lockdown, they were running a “VIP Lane” for their friends to profit from the pandemic. The case of Michelle Mone and PPE Medpro is not an isolated incident; it is a symptom of a corrupt system where there is one law for them, and another for the rest of us.
This song is our response. This is the Heart of our project.
The Head—the cold, hard evidence—is what gives it power. We will be using this space to post the proof, the articles, and the data that they don't want you to see.
This is not a moment. This is a movement.

Project Prometheus: Demanding Accountability, Exposing Hypocrisy
Overview of the Medpro PPE Scandal
The Medpro PPE scandal centers on PPE Medpro, a company linked to Conservative peer Baroness
Michelle Mone and her husband Doug Barrowman, which secured over £200 million in UK government contracts for personal protective equipment (PPE) during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
The firm was fast-tracked through a “VIP lane” due to Mone’s political connections, bypassing standard procurement processes. Key allegations include supplying faulty surgical gowns that failed sterility standards, leading to a breach of contract.
The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) sued PPE Medpro for £122 million related to the unusable gowns, and on October 1, 2025, the High Court ruled in favor of the government, ordering repayment plus costs.
The company has since entered administration, raising doubts about full recovery of funds, though partners have expressed openness to settlement discussions. Broader criticisms highlight cronyism in pandemic procurement, with Mone initially denying involvement before admitting ties in 2022.
The political campaign group Led by Donkeys has previously spotlighted related Tory scandals, though not specifically this case in recent public posts.
