Hii! May I make a request for hcs or an imagine or something for Prompto and a chubby fem!s/o or crush who maybe gets a bit jelly or insecure over the way Prompto interacts with Cindy? (No hate on her though! Like the two girls could be good friends but reader feels a tad bit insecure in self-comparison) and maybe she becomes a little distant as a result, maybe One of the other bros brings it to oblivious Promptos attention and then what he does after that? Please and thanks if you do this!

Prompto Argentum:

You know that Prompto had been crushing on Cindy

So since you kept seeing them hang out, it made you feel insecure

Even if you were dating and knew Prompto and her were just friends

But you were jealous that you didn’t feel as beautiful as her

Besides, she was so thin and you were chubby

You started doubting yourself and feeling self-conscious

“What’s up, Y/N?” Noctis then came up to you. “Why are you here alone?”

“Oh, Prompto is talking to Cindy…” You muttered tiredly

Noctis knew you well enough to notice something off

Besides, it was obvious that something was bothering you

And it was clear that it was being jealous of Cindy

“I mean, I get it… She’s pretty and thin…” You continued

When you turned to Noctis and saw him frowning, you brushed it off

You forced out a smile and came up with an excuse

Maybe you were just tired and feeling a bit off today

Or so you told Noctis, even if he didn’t believe you

When you left Hammerhead, Prompto came back to you like always

Being his usual bubbly self, taking your hand and chatting

Until he noticed you didn’t want him taking pictures of you anymore

Before you had been a little shy about it, but let him

Mostly because he insisted that you were so beautiful

“The light is perfect, and you look great, Y/N!” and it made you feel better

But now it felt like throwing your insecurities in your face

“What’s wrong?” Prompto asked you worriedly

It made you feel even worse that he was so sad for you being sad

So instead of telling him, you distanced yourself from him

Like you did with Noct, you told Prompto that you weren’t feeling well

“Probably just tired, yeah, Noct asked me about it too” 

Getting increasingly worried, Prompto went to his friend

Luckily, Noct wasn’t as oblivious and explained it to him

Told him everything you didn’t feel strong enough to voice out

After that, Prompto approached you, being all solemn and serious

“Hey, Y/N…. I’m sorry” “For what?” “For not realizing about Cindy”

You wondered if he had noticed about it on his own, but Noctis…

Something told you that his friend had tattled

“It’s okay, she’s better than me anyway…” “That’s not true!”

“It is, she’s beautiful and kind and thin and… I’m not” 

Prompto’s eyes were watery at your words, his heart broken

He gingerly took your hand in his and squeezed it tight

“You are all that and more. I’m dating you, not her, right?”

Seeing the genuine emotion in his eyes, you hesitated

He began talking for a long time, speaking his mind

Telling you how you’re different, but not worse than her

How you’re sweet and get him so well and he adores you

How he can be himself around you and he’s so happy and lucky

Because being your boyfriend is one of the best things that happened to him

Emotional about his words, your eyes start getting watery as well

“You don’t mind that I’m chubby, Prompto?” “Of course not!”

To demonstrate, he holds you tight against him and smiles

“You’re soft and I love hugging you and to me, you’re perfect just the way you are”

To further reinforce his words, Prompto kissed your head

From that day on, he promised to keep an eye on you

And if you ever felt insecure, he would intervene and remind you 

Because you’re great and beautiful, inside and out

So he’s not gonna let you be insecure, not on his watch

“You’re too great not to like yourself as much as I like you” He always says

Hi there! I just wanted to request a Prompto x Reader related scenario. I was thinking that maybe since Prompto had self esteem issues growing up due to his weight, maybe he isn't really experienced with the concept of love despite acting like he is. But when he meets his s/o and falls head over heels for them, he is finally able to experience this. He finally has his first kiss with them and it makes him so overwhelmingly happy. Maybe then he'll even open up about his past with them.

Prompto had always been a bit of a hopeless romantic, although he never really had the courage or the skills to talk to those he found himself so head over heels for. So when he met and quickly fell for his s/o, and they /finally/ said they’d go out with him, he couldn’t’ contain the total overwhelming mix of excitement and gratefulness he felt. Even then, it was hard to believe that they had really chosen him, and they were /actually/ a couple now. As a result, Prompto would still be a little sheepish when it came to physical affection. It’s not that he doesn’t enjoy it, quite the opposite, it’s just that he doesn’t really know what to do with himself. He can’t stand how jittery and red he gets, always stumbling over his words and embarrassing himself. It felt safer just to keep his distance, lest he come on too strong like he always does.

However, this hasn’t stopped him from /trying/ to initiate a first kiss. One time, they were both huddled up on his couch playing video games. He’d asked them oh so slyly to lean over and hand him some of the chips sitting on their side. He was nervous and stuttering, mouth tightened in determination as he’d been planning out over the last few hours the perfect moment to make a move. He’d been fumbling and performing miserably in the game as a result, much to his s/o’s enjoyment. Just as they reached across the couch to hand him the bag he leaned in for a kiss, his s/o quickly turning their head at the last moment as they were still entirely invested in the game and hadn’t even noticed his advances. The failure had discouraged him for the rest of the night as he tried to come down from the adrenaline rush.

The second time he lowered his stakes, aiming for a quick peck on the corner of the mouth just as his s/o was turning to point at one of the chocobo chicks waddling by at Wiz’s ranch, causing him to miss and kiss the hair covering their ear instead. He covered his mouth in embarrassment, apologizing but his s/o just laughed lightly. At least now they got the idea.

They waited for the right moment to surprise him with a peck on the lips as they were both heading back inside the caravan after a long night of not being able to sleep when the rest of the group laid down for bed. As they bumped hips both trying to get to the back of the tightly packed caravan where the sleeping quarters were, Prompto halted to apologize while his s/o leaned in for the kiss. Prompto had been so shaken he yipped, gloved hand gripping onto the small counter, face burning. His s/o leaned back some, Prompto’s hand instantly gravitating to their bicep as he swallowed deeply in his immense lack to form words. His s/o would just smile, that is, until they saw the emotion that came over the freckled boy. His face twisted from shock to… sadness? And wait… were those tears? /Oh gods./ As his s/o rushed to comfort him, asking what was wrong, Prompto would merely shake his head, trying just as hard to reassure them that he was okay as he was gathering himself.

“No… Really.. It’s okay I’m just-… I just- I never…” He bit his lip as he admitted his defeat with words, needing more comfort and reassurance so that he could muster the courage to continue.

They’d hardly be able to believe their ears, however, once the boy started talking of having never been kissed before. They still might have to really press him to open up as to what else was weighing on him so hard, leading him outside away from earshot of the others while constantly assuring him that he was loved and wasn’t being judged. Once in the safety of the quiet outdoors he’d spill his past. His past of being this awkward outcast who was overweight and was never able to get along with anyone. A boy that came on too strongly and pushed so many people away, building a wall so that no one would see the vulnerability inside.

Although the confession was crushing, knowing everything of his insecurities, his struggle with opening up to others, his parents that were never there, his s/o still hugged him and held on tight, not stopping despite his questioning noises and nervous squirming. None of that mattered, they were just happy to be with him, and of course hearing that left him emotionally overwhelmed beyond his capacity handle things. He’d simply stare at them, considering the weight of their words before he’d begin to wipe at at steady, nonstop flow of tears, assuring them that they were ones of happiness.

He’d never felt so loved, all of his pain poured off his chest in front of the one that mattered most. He felt born again, thanking them for everything they’ve done even though a little kiss and their time was all they felt they’d really given. But to Prompto, it was the world.

The extra sunshine in his step the next day was enough to light up the entire caravan, leaving the others wondering just what had gotten into the already chipper young man. But of course deep down everyone knew, deciding to keep quiet and save the teasing for later. Prompto was sure head over heels this time.

Hello! You're writing is so lovely. I was wondering if you could write a ficlet for a fem!reader x Prompto from FFXV where Prompto finds out that reader is terrified of guns but pretends to be fine even though she tenses up whenever she sees them. He does everything he can to comfort her and teaches her that it’s okay and eventually is able to place a gun in her hands.

Prompto Argentum:

Your birthday was getting closer, and Prompto knew

He’s great at remembering special dates involving his loved ones

Because he just cares so much, so of course he remembers yours

Prompto asked you what you were planning to do for your birthday

You shrugged it off saying that you didn’t have any plans

And smiled even as you said that you would spend it alone

Ignis, Noctis, Gladio and all your family/friends were super busy

You might get to see them for a bit, but the rest of the day you were alone

Prompto knew that you were a bit upset over that, even if you hid it

Or tried to hide it, because he knew you too well to buy it

He didn’t say anything, but the wheels in his head were working

You didn’t think much of that conversation when the day arrived

You were home alone, having a self care day and enjoying yourself

Watching your favorite movie and eating your favorite snacks

Until a knock came to your door, and you wondered who it could be

You weren’t expecting anyone, so you thought it might be the mail

But when you opened the door, you were left speechless

There stood Prompto, carrying so much stuff you couldn’t see his face

When he heard you calling him in surprise, he poked his head 

So he could look at you over the mountain of stuff he carried

“Hi, Y/N!” He smiled big. “Happy birthday!!!”

Immediately, you knew what was happening, and you had to smile

“Prom, you didn’t have to-” “Of course I did!! Can I come in?” 

“Sure” You stepped aside and invited him in

Prompto left all the stuff on the table, and you looked to see what it was

A cake of your favorite flavor, his console with all his games, snacks

As well as a variety of DVDs of movies you loved, popcorn included

“You didn’t have any plans today?” “Yup, celebrating your birthday!”

You smiled again and hugged him, deeply moved by the gesture

His cimpany alone would have been enough

But it was heartwarming that he went out of his way like that

You spent the day together, like a mini private party

Watching movies, eating snacks, playing videogames

With Prompto taking pictures to document the day, of course

Especially when you blew the candles of your cake

And when you had a laugh attack when you smeared a little on his face

It was just a bit, but he pouted and it made you laugh so hard

You also took a lot of pictures together, and you know which is your fave

It’s the one where you’re unexpectedly kissing his cheek

As a thank you for being so sweet and thoughtful

Because he’s blushing profusely and making a funny face

That’s your favorite photo of you two, you treasure it

You just spend the day chatting, laughing a lot and just hanging out 

Like any other day, even if it feels special thanks to him

But in middle of such terrible times, people still try to keep some happiness and joy. Reader have been in love in secret of Prompto, and he feels the same. So for that romantic "day" finally Prompto decides to tell her how much he love her and wants to have a "life" with her. + female reader x Prompto Argentum.
