Neo kid on the block* 

New year brings new beginnings and at the Mill we are all about being introduced to new things, we might not be running down to the gym to try the latest fat busting work out but we are going to be speeding down to our nearest Kryolan store to stock up on their new Neo Silicone adhesive! 

The Silicone Adhesive NEO Strong Bond is a high performance skin adhesive for heavy duty special effect purposes. Its solvent is odorless and provides a pleasant feel on the skin. The adhesive does not dry while being applied and doesn‘t form webs on the brush, which is great as you dont end up with glue webs on you or your actor!

After a drying time of a few seconds, the pressure sensitive adhesive will remain tacky for hours until it is activated by firmly pressing the prosthetic onto the prepared area. It has a little more working time than the usual silicone glues but by golly it is strong, once your piece is on, it's on like donkey kong! 

Also available as Silicone Adhesive NEO Regular Bond for regular effect purposes and those with more sensitive skin during derig . Both adhesives are easily removable with the Silicone Adhesive NEO Thinner & Remover.

With a great price point too, the Neo Glue is definitely going to be our go to for those sticky situations!

Looney for Lunar* 

We have gone raving looney here at The Makeup Mill (and no before you say anything we haven’t always been looney, well maybe a little) , for this Lunar Storage case, PERFECT FOR HAIR PINS! 

Spotted on FX Artist (and self confessed kit junkie) Olivia Jerrard’s instagram, we had to share this with our Makeup Mill readers ASAP. 

It is lightweight yet robust, perfect for keeping your kit carriable with its handy handle. It also has removable drawers, so you can take out whatever pins you need and tuck the rest safely away out of site. There is so much space yet it is not huge and bulky, so will fit perfectly into your kit without becoming a new kit in itself! 

We also LOVE the top of the box which is great for storing new unboxed pins or overflow pins that simply wont fit in the drawers at that time. Our top tip would be to use the top area as a stock pile of pins you run out of quickly, so during those crazy crowd calls you never run out of those fine wigglies (you all know what im talking about) !

Coming in pink, black and white is suitable for even the most discerning of hair and makeup artists!
