An environment piece and concept work developing the design of Emmet's light powers. I imagine him using it pretty versatilely - for the majority of the time he'd have it take on more simpler blobby or sparky forms, but he'd also make intricate organic and geometric shapes for various situations. (More complex than in these images)

I'm still likely to use a lot of these earlier concept designs.

Pretty much the stuff I’m going to add in terms of modeling. Will make another plan detailing damages to be sculpted, detail to be painted and how this all relates to added accesories ( I had these details in mind before deciding on accesories to add)

I found a decent amount of reference images of ‘post-apocalyptic’ / makeshift guns and analysed what parts I liked and didn’t like and whether or not certain design decisions really made sense.

I think I have a really clear Idea of what the object history/owner of the gun is now and this will inform my decision process as I progress further with the sculpting, texturing and modeling extra additions to the gun.

I started this project entirely with the intention of just picking a reference and matching it as best I could but now It’s become something else and I’m quite glad about that, I just wish I had started with this process in mind before I started modeling at all.
