SEPTEMBER 9 - Flight home

So I took a flight from Budapest to Berlin Tegel this morning and then a flight from Tegel to Frankfurt. In Tegel I had to change gate and the new one was like at the other side of the airport and I had to walk so far and had to get through security again… Quite stressful.

When I saw the plane to Frankfurt I was quite surprised, its in the picture, it was tiny! And it had propellors :D was not so bad flying in it, just a bit loud, but funny xD haha.

Happy to be home, somehow…

A New Zealand airman stands on the wing of a fighter plane, probably a Curtiss P-40 Tomahawk, or the newer version the Warhawk, against a background of palm trees. The "Warhawk", introduced in 1942, was "the first American plane using the British-designed Rolls-Royce Merlin engine ". Have a look at the 1941 tobacco advertisement that makes use of the reputation of the earlier version, the "Tomahawk".

A cinderella of the same design was issued in 1940.
