One of my responsibilities is to create and oversee the concept design of our renovation projects. I get to determine the best colour scheme and layout that will work within the space I am given. With every reno project, I put together my ideas complete with pictures, notes and yes, painter's tape lol. For this specific project, I'm hoping to get away with a modern black, white and glass home. Once that is done, I present my ideas to my team and we all will revise accordingly based on budget, timing (ordering of materials, etc), difficulty and overall design. Once everyone is on board, I start shopping for the best qualities within specific budgets. Lots of discussions will center around quantity, quality, effectiveness and efficiency at this point.
