Friday Broadcast: Respond to both good and bad with good
Prophet Noah, عليه السلام, called the people to Islam for 950 years. He would call them to believe in Allāh and to Paradise, and they belied him. They would beat him until he would lose consciousness, but he never stopped calling them to Islam. He used to treat the people with good manners even though they treated him poorly. All of the Prophets would call the people in this manner so they could save them from blasphemy and from being tortured in the hereafter. The entire time, the blasphemers would curse Prophet Noah عليه السلام , harm him, bely him, and humiliate him, and Noah would only increase in patience when dealing with them. Whoever wishes to attain a high rank and status follows the Prophets, and not his desires. The one who controls himself and doesn’t reply to bad with bad but rather with good is following the path of the Prophets.
