Prophetic Culture: 4 Defensive Arts

Prophetics are an interesting race because they are strictly pacifistic in nature. I think it might have something to do with a religious belief, but they chose never to outright commit acts of violence on other beings. They will eat meat, but the animal must be killed by someone else. However despite this they have survived being hunted down indiscriminately.

They are extremely selective about who they trust, but at the same time they barely have anyone to chose to trust since they live in a pocket dimension with a demi-god and it has so many test/traps to get by in order to enter that barely anyone can make it unless they are invited.

In the case they are attacked they have developed the 4 defensive arts to protect themselves that they haven't taught anyone how to do. They will never use these abilities to attack someone with. Instead they simply create the most disadvantageous situation possible for their opponent and let their opponent run into it and hurt themselves.

Level 1: Reflect- Reflect has all the powers that can be thought of that pertains to the word "Reflect". It can reflect and attack back to its sender, but it can also be used to reflect light and concentrate it like a magnifying glass. as two examples.

Level 2: Reveal- Reveal has all the powers that can be thought of that pertains to the word "Reveal". It can be used to reveal the truth behind illusions, but it can also be used to force people to tell the truth about something. As a final example they can use it as a form of telling the direction of something by forcing someone or even inanimate objects to "reveal" a path.

Level 3: Revert- Revert has all the powers that can be thought of that pertains to the word "Revert". Meaning that they can revert someone back to their original or even previous forms physically. they can also revert destroyed buildings to perfect conditions or even the materials back into their unaltered states. They can revert themselves back to a younger form and so much more.

Level 4: Reject- Reject has all the power that can be thought of that pertains to the word "Reject". Reject is the most overpowered ability i've ever seen, because it has the ability erase existence. I've never seen anything close to it however the ability has a very short area of effect and it is directly around the user's body. If done improperly it will draw the user into a trance that will force them to continue the ability until they run out of energy and become completely unable to defend themselves for several days. Only another Prophetic that has mastered the 4 defensive arts can penetrate the "Reject" and wake the user from their trance.

There is technically a 5th level, but it is something that cannot really be copied and that is their ability for Futuresight. So not only do they have all of these overpowered abilities, but they can also have see the future of the fight they are having in real time.

Prophetic Culture- General history

Prophetics are a group of beings that I've come across in the astral. They are an interesting group and live a pacifistic lifestyle under the protection of several guardians and traps Inside a pocket dimension created by a God turned Demi-god who calls himself Law Maker. No-one knows his real name. People call him that because he helps to create the laws that govern the 6 domains, one of which is his. (For those wondering about the God turned Demi-god part, it was explained to me that he used a majority of his power to create and entire parallel universe as well as some of the rules of reality on the planet where the 6 Domains reside on so some places have 20 hours of night and only 4 hours of daytime, while others have 20 hours of Day and only 4 hours of night and several other things. Doing that used so much energy that he fell below the ranks of normal gods, but not enough to lose his full authority. Idk how that works, but that's how it was explained to me.)

Before Prophetics lived under Law Maker they lived in their own area residing in a neutral ground outside of any domain. They are a humanoid race of beings hated by most of the beings they live around because of their close appearance to humans and the general hatred of humans most beings had at the time. They share much of our appearance with the exception of having Lavender colored irises.

They follow a strict ideology of trying not to interfere with any one or anything directly, but they can give council and helpful advice. They are also pacifistic in nature, as well as with their upbringing. They are a very close-knit group that considers every one of their kind as a family member. They will protect their own through the use of non-directly controlled means such as guardian beasts and traps, but they will never directly attack someone.

This practice lead to a near extinction of their kind, until Law Maker gave them shelter in his Tower of Origin. For a time Law Maker was a kind of Warrior God, but the Prophetics managed to convert him to their pacifistic lifestyle. Since then he's been an advocate for saving as many lives as he can through the law he's created and the connections he's made as an Emperor of one of the Six Domains.

They earn their right to live with him by taking care of the day to day chores of the tower, such as farming, tending to all of the guardian creatures, repairing anything that breaks, cooking for themselves and Law Maker as well as any guests that might arrive, grounds keeping, as well as using their ability of futuresight to help Law Maker record all of history for that world. They also acts as advisors to him  and help him to create laws that are fair to all species.

They have developed a very unique magic that is only used by their species. It is called the Prophetic defensive arts and it's probably the most overpowered thing I've ever seen in my life, but that is a topic for a different day.
