The Propesel I Hope To Some Day Give You

I am not screwed up.

I’m not cosmically cursed to be miserable and in unhealthy situations.

For a long time I felt like that.

Especially after hurting you.

I tried to use it as some bandaid to cover the truth.

When the truth was that I was in love with you

And I’d never felt a love like that before. It absolutely terrified me so I self destructed and ran away.

I’m not saying I’m perfect and that I won’t make mistakes. Because I will.

But I am not doomed to live a life without you.

At the end of the day, I make every choice.

No one else.

Even with being bipolar.

Every intense spell I have,

I always want you.

So even when it gets hard.

Because at some point it might.

I can always choose to want you.

I WILL always choose to want you.

Every choice I made got me standing right in front of you.

And it’s honestly the best place my feet have ever taken me.

We don’t have to follow social norms.

Or other peoples idea of what we should be.

Spend forever with me?

We will figure anything out as long as we’re together.
