love love your addition to that halfa theory post! ^u^ I really wanna come up w ways people could’ve turned part ghost with a HIGHER percentage ghost than human... and what ancient humans around them would think... halfas getting burned at the stake for witchcraft and whatnot? Or being seen as a psychic/medium, because they literally CAN see into the spirit world...
fyi though, might wanna avoid using the actual term “halfbreed”. not everyone would consider it a *slur* necessarily, but it does have a lot of racist connotations! Sorry if this is a weird comment, I know you probably didn’t mean anything negative by it, just felt a little jarring to see it used casually like that!
I dunno.. usually halfbreed animals have specific names like mule, liger, zebroid, and whatnot
When people talk about monsters, like werewolves, vampires, etc, that have a Child with a human, those children are usually referred to as halfbreeds. I'm not using it for any sort of race. There isnt really a suitable term.. halfmonster.. partmonster.. halfbreed.. idk whats better but we're talking about monsters, animals, and sometimes demons too.. got any suggestions for a better term? Where someome becomes half one thing and half another thing via breeding?

Back to the main focus, to have a human with more parts ghost than human? Im not sure. Maybe they would turn into a psychic, medium, esp, or some other weird thing. We don't know much about how people in this world turn into ghosts but it seems a cool concept to think of.
Maybe they had powers of supernatural origin after a near death experience, and now they're barely clasping on to life because they're so much ghost..
And if anyone saw these thing they would one hundred percent freak out
How many have been burned at the stake? How many have been taken in to experimentation? How many have gotten their spirits banished by priests? (Sidenote, someone should TOTALLY make a fanfic about danny getting his ghost half expelled by a priest who was trying to help)
I'd imagine most are thrown off as a hoax, some what do you call them.. uhm.. like the travelers who do psychic stuff.. idk
