#prot pally

So I guess I’m guild-hunting again.

953 prot pally, 4/11H, logs available.  Alliance-US currently on Dalaran as Samblackwell.  I don’t really have money for a transfer right now but will happily raid with you cross-server and roll an alt to hang out in the guild outside of raid times till I do (probably 2-4 weeks).  I have a lot of high-end raiding experience, but I’m not looking for anything super hardcore.  Mythics aren’t even a requirement--I’d be happy in a casual Heroic-only guild if it meant getting to tank full-time.

Older adult, reliable, dependable, have missed two raid nights in six years, really fucking love tanking and don’t really want to do anything else in-game.  I’ve tried the DPS and healing things, and they’re just not for me.  I’ve been tanking since Vanilla and maining a prot pally since BC.  I know my class inside out, backwards and forwards, whatever.

I love keystones too.

yo can i get some quick advice for prot pallys 

judgement of light vs concentrated ground

you let a healing pal take judgement of light over you right so you only use concentrated ground if you have a healing pally otherwise you take judgement of light yourself thats what i understand is this correct

i dont usually run with a dedicated healing paladin when im tanking so i usually take judgement of light myself is this right?

So, yeah, that whole WoW thing, probably going to be a bad thing in hindsight, but GOODNESS, it was a lot of fun chain-running low level instances with the husband yesterday on my baby Prot Pally.

I mean, technically, I have a level 85 Prot Pally already on that server, but I wanted to relearn and level with the husband and the friend. And I was wrecking house.

Of course, the friend was not on for part of the day, so we outleveled him by the time he got on. We helped to fix that, so hopefully tonight we can start running level 30ish instances.

And, I made myself a new friend! Since we were pugging most of the group, we were getting a bunch of random people every time for 3 spots. I met a Panda Shaman that whispered me after we finished the run wanting to know if he could keep running with me. Good tanks are hard to find, after all. :D

As are good healers, and this guy was pretty dang good.
