The Elephant in the Rock, 2018
@ Etretat, Normandie, France
I was amazed to learn that in Normandy, this famous rock formation painted by Monet, is also the other half of the rock formation called the Seven Sinsters, in Eastbourne, United Kingdom.
We are constantly taught in our geography classes that tectonic plates change the design of the world... But only by experiencing the power of the laws of this planet and nature, we can trully appreciate the value in the beauty and splendour of this world.
Kind regards to you all*
Mountains by Train, 2022
@ Rodão, Castelo Branco, Portugal

Even in Death, Life Creates
the beginning of the exploration of natural elements and (de)composition
#01, Impressão de Vida (Print of Life) #02, Memórias em Supenso (Memories Adrift)
In the late 2012, I started a series of studies of natural colours and forms from the plant world, imprinted on sketchbooks.
There are a total of eight (still ongoing) albums, concerning the research of different pigments, behaviours, patterns, reactions and, of course in a more practical terms, stains and blots created on paper. From ordinary flowers growing on concrete or that got left behind by someone on the way home as well as through vegetables, decorative and traditional medicine plant species, mushrooms and so on.
#02 Memórias em Supenso is a special volume for me, which introduces illustrative drawing, developed with and within the blots. I’ll be posting more about it, later on ^^
* thank you for your time * have a good one :)
