Fav olicity fic? I'm looking for some nice things to read... (preferably a fic where we have a protective OLIVER bc he is HOT)

I did post some recent fic recs on Wednesday (and god willing, I will keep posting recs every Wednesday this season). But you’re asking my favorite overall? GOD, I’m not sure I can pick. It’d be like asking me which of my children is my favorite. I have so many fics that I love. 

So while I can’t give you a FAVORITE, I will you give one of my faves and it’s an older fic but it definitely ticks the protective Oliver box (with a nice side helping of possessive/jealous Oliver too!) and even has Tommy alive in it, which is always appreciated by me.

Remember when Felicity was attacked by the Huntress (Oliver’s psycho ex) and Oliver rushed over to help her.

And he was calm and reassuring her that she was safe, because he was there.

And he went from caring and gentle to fierce protector when he heard someone coming. 

Because there was nothing more important in that second to keep her safe.

Because he promised himself, when she first joined the team and again when she had the bomb collar on her neck, that no more harm would come to her.

And he wasn’t there to protect her before, but he’s there now.

And they’ll have to go through him to get to her.

And he won’t let that happen.
