Being called a "dire threat to the American people" is... amusing.

I'm a threat NOT because I don't like cops.

I'm a threat NOT because I don't like the government.

I'm a threat NOT because I don't like America.

I'm a threat.

I'm a threat because I use ankle splints.

I'm a threat because I can't breathe when I excercise.

I'm a threat because I use headphones to help me focus on my school work.

I'm a threat because I have to lean on a wall.

I'm a threat because I have to stand up jn the middle of class to stretch my legs before sitting back down.

I'm a threat because I have to go to the hospital every year to make sure I don't have cancer.

I'm a threat because I'm disabled.

I'm a threat.

As an American living in Texas, I want to thank those in other countries who protest for us. It's a little terrifying. I may never graduate college, I may never be able to get a job, I may never be able to live a real life.

For other Americans who are terrified of what this country is becoming, I hope you all can live the lives that you deserve.

I was just talking to my mom about the stuff going down in Ferguson and how we're trying to make a change and she looked me right in the eyes and said "you will never end racism. You can't change people's ideas. You're all being stupid you should just give up." My mother is a black woman who just said stop caring about how black people are treated. This is why I am protesting.
