#GoodTrouble The Honorable John Lewis was notorious for #GoodTrouble. Countless arrest, and he was even beaten in the head for voters rights. At the time a lot of people said what was going on in the world, because at least we were not slaves right? ..... Wrong He went on to become a US Congressman until his time of death. I've been an activist for 6 years now, and I've been arrested more times than I can count for the cause including being flash-banged 2 times, tear-gassed 3 times, and violently arrested and sent to the hospital twice. #ProtestSaturday My good people, I've been on the fence. I used to simply LOVE being an activist .... Now I have a love/hate relationship with it. I LOVE my people but..... I hate the lengths people have gone to silence me . I hate that despite 6 years of hard work, with proven results I still get disrespected. I never fit in. I hate that whenever I'm called, I come running ... But the few times I've called, the only thing I get from folks is "damn that's crazy"... "Damn that's wild"... "Oh for real?" ... "Things will get better bro" ... You can't pour from an empty cup, and I've been mentally, emotionally, physically, and financially drained beyond your imagination. I'm not sure where the journey is taking me, but I do know I need some time to process it all. I thank you all for your patience, and I love you all. The flag will be back out flying high again someday.... These pictures weren't taken in #Ukraine or #Iraq or #Afghanistan These pictures were taken when Virginia Beach police department decided to deploy a flash bang grenade, and tear gas on peaceful protesters. There were children, and tourist around. We never got answers, never got a FOIA. All because we stepped for #GeorgeFloyd & #BreonnaTaylor along with the many injustices that go cold in the 757.
