Random convo overheard at Subway
YD: Dad Maria and i can't have children. But-
D: That's fine your mom and I are too young for-
YD: dad. Stop. I'm 27 you can't say you two are too young. I'm telling you we're going to adopt.
D: why? Those children always have issues.
YD: Just because someone made the choice for whatever reason to give them up for adoption is their choice. Our choice is adopting them.
D: but they won't be yours!
YD: It's not blood that matters dad. We want a child and those children want a home.
Sadly my order came before I heard the rest but it restored a little of my faith in humanity
