Social distancing isn’t new to me. I’ve been socially distanced from my family for a long time. Many members of my family are conservative Christians. I remain distant from them to differences in our belief systems. I live my life free to be the person I want to be. There are many family moments that I am not a part of as a result of my life choices (the good and the bad). The #Covid_19 #Pandemic has brought us closer together. I’m a GREAT UNCLE, and I want to be a part of the lives of the family members that accept me for who I am. I don’t want my great nephew (or the rest of the new generation) to grow up only hearing about me in stories.
