Can i rant? Okay.

I want to talk about something real quick. Something that really bothers me. I'm Hispanic. I was born in Guatemala and I lived in Puerto Rico before I came to America. And yah I'm very proud to be Hispanic but something that just bothers me so much is the stereotype that are placed on Hispanics. I remember I was in class one day and I was going on to my friend about panic at the disco and this boy who was sitting behind me turned around and said," your acting so white right now." And I was just like the fuck?!? What do you mean I'm acting so white?!?! Like it made me so mad because it's very stereotypical to think that just because your Hispanic you salsa dance 24/7 and were booty shorts and shit. But hey if this is you no hate at all you do you girl(oh boy) but Let me just tell you I wear pants even during the summer because I'm anxious about my body and that's what I feel comfortable in. And also it's a stereotype that Hispanics only hang around other Hispanics and there all illegal! And they only speak Spanish and spend there summer mowing the lawn and watching soccor. I cannot tell you enough how mad that makes me. And it's not just from people who arnt Hispanic. I have gone into target with my mom and I was wearing a hamilton t-shirt a flannel, jeans, and vans and this Hispanic family who walked by us just stopped and started at me and then whispered and walked away. Like why?!?!?!? Why. So what if I like bands shirts?! Let people just wear clothes for God's sake!!! And the same goes for white people. That they all drink Starbucks and there all recist. Not true!! My best friend (who is white) dosnt like Starbucks and she has her hair cut down to her head. And the same for black people. There all gang members and they all live in the hood. The list goes on and on for every race and religion.

Now I'm not saying evey one in the world thinks like this but alot of the world does.

From my personal observations and just watching the news alot it's manly middle schoolers and highschooler who have this mind set. Probally cause they spend every waking second on YouTube and Instagram reading and watching who knows what. But hey I really can't say anything there cause like same. But I'm Also not a bitch. There's this one specific youtuber that I have seen her do the stereotyping shit. Lele pons. Now if you watch her then you know exactly what im talking about. If im being honest some of her vidoes are really funny but others just offend me. AND HEY ITS MY OPINON DONT COME FOR ME XD anyway continuing on, in elementary school your biggest promblem is someone wouldn't share their animal crackers with you.

Anyway the point of all of this is that there are so many things that would HONESTLY and TRULLY make the world a better place.

Just remember that not every white person you meet is racist. Not every black is a ghetto and stuck up. Not every Hispanic is illegal. There's so much more but I would be here forever.

I don't think some of you even understand how hard working Hispanics are. We will find any means to work before standing in the street begging for money. In Colombia, as in many Latin countries, you would probably even see children in the streets trying to convince you to purchase an orange, or a bag of chips. When the light's on red you will see so many people asking if you need your windows cleaned. In the early mornings to the late evenings you will see Hispanics selling things on the side of the road such as fruits, corn, etc... They would take care of children who aren't even their own while their own babies are at home waiting for a cooked meal from mom she gets home. Hispanic people are fighters, we may not have much such as a fancy ass house, Nice ass shoes/clothes but they always always make sure their kids have the best. That their kids have a meal on the table everyday. We are so strong, because in some situations that's the only choice we have. While some of you all are blessed with greatness, others have to make sacrifices so their children can have the best. Hispanics have so much pride. And the reasons why you will see my people working hard jobs is because we do it for our family, not for accessories. So we can send some money back home to help out. & that's my short little story about the pride of Hispanics/Latinos.#proudlatina #latinx #proudHispanic

There is nothing like sitting with my great aunt, and finally knowing where some of my family originated from. So much in Cuban politics, España, and the Canary islands. At least that's only from my mom's dad's side. She actually got to visit where her last night originated from, the lands my family gave to the Catholic church! Adding an item on my to do list!
