If my hope is in my career or relationships or the government, I am likely to be disappointed. My only hope is to trust in a hope that does not fade or change with circumstances. To place my faith in the eternal and sovereign, Jesus Christ, for everything that seems impossible. It is a hope that sees beyond this life. It is a hope that cannot be taken away by the suffering of this world. It is a hope that God alone can give – a hope worth waiting for. Jesus Christ is our hope in a hopeless world. We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure…Jesus our forerunner… Hebrews 6:19-20
