What if…?
GUYS. you have to have hope!! i see so many people giving up on getting valko back (understandably, given how defeating it is) after seeing the coming soon button missing. we can'tttt give up, that's what they want us to do. giving up is losing 100% of the time
even if we keep trying, we might still lose, but theres a better chance we can make positive progress. don't let this crush your hopes!!! change never happens when people stand down, we're more powerful together :3 the longer we have hope and make ourselves heard, the more infold will be forced to acknowledge us <3
good news will come! i know it seems sad now, but it will get better. i promise
This is a gentle, earnest reminder to anyone who needs to hear it that no matter what the media tries to tell you, no matter how fearmongering some people try to be, no matter what happens in this one election, it will be okay. Please don't lose hope if your candidate doesn't win. The world will not end no matter who gets into office. Some people want us to be afraid and at each others' throats, but hating each other isn't going to make things better or solve our problems. We're all people and we all have value.
If things get too stressful, you are not weak or wrong to take time for yourself, away from the news and the yelling, and focus on all of the beautiful, good things in your life that aren't going away. Family. Friends. Sunshine. Your favorite snack. Pretty colors. Pets. Those funny memes. That show you like. A warm beverage.
Rest. Humans are not meant to carry every weight of the world on their shoulders at once. Allow yourself to trust and believe that there is still good in the world no matter who is in office.
As someone who loves research and has done loads of it on businesses, roles, and companies: Please please PLEASE do not use customer service as your source.
A customer service representative saying they don’t have an answer doesn’t mean there’s nothing going on. It simply means they are not the department with that information or the authority to speak on it. They only know/are able to speak about what has been officially announced.
They DO NOT have access to inside information.
Here’s something interesting to understand as I slowly start nerding out because my fyp is driving me crazy with how many people are losing hope over customer service responses:
Large companies usually operate on a need-to-know basis for security, confidentiality, consistent communication, and prevention of misinformation or leaks.
Different departments only have access to the information they actually need for their role, nothing more or less than that.
This is especially common when it comes to upcoming announcements, products, updates, or major company decisions. The people working on a project may know the details, while other departments may only receive information closer to what was officially released.
This helps manage communication. If every department had access to every internal discussion, there would be a much higher chance of outdated information being shared, accidental leaks happening, or employees unintentionally giving customers information that was never finalized.
Chaos, basically.
To top it off: companies also have dedicated teams responsible for public communication. Marketing, public relations, and official announcement channels usually coordinate when and how information is revealed because timing and wording matter.
A customer service representative’s job is to provide support using information officially available. They are never authorized to casually share information that has not been cleared for public communication. They are NOT the Public Relations department, nor are they leaders, HR, Communications, or developers, which is why you shouldn’t take their responses as the final blow.
I’ll say this again: A support representative can only speak from the information and guidelines that have been officially provided. It is not in their jurisdiction to confirm future plans or reveal internal discussions.
So, please please PLEASE do not lose hope over a message by someone who is not able to say anything more than what has already been announced.
A customer service should never be seen as the voice of the company as a whole. It is ONE small department with MAJOR limitations to its role and don’t have the authority to say more than what is already given.
Until an official statement is made by the appropriate teams, don’t treat a support message as the final answer. Before you even think about doing that, remember that you are hearing from a department designed to support customers based off of given, heavily limited information, not a team that knows what’s going on the inside or is authorised to share such.
Thank you for reading and I hope this helps give you a broad idea on how companies work and how they don’t give every department access to internal details. Please stop sharing misinformation or losing hope over something that was never meant to be confirmation.
Take a step back, look at the bigger picture, and remember that different teams have different responsibilities and levels of access. For good reason, too (obviously).
Don’t give up or lose hope, LADies. We’ve got this! Stay strong and keep fighting.
Please take care of yourselves! Love you <3

Hey not a alert or ask, but I was browsing around Bluesky and came across this post that was full doomerish. Basically stating this:
"I have NO fucking faith that KOSA falls apart this time around. I’m hearing nothing about it, no backlash, nobody’s saying anything. Like man, the entire internets gonna go away."
Like I get why they would feel this way, but I mean man, you can't just let it get it to you. Saying this stuff will just fuel more of your negativity and doomer mindset. I mean I didn't know about KOSA and all until 2025 and even before that, I didn't see much backlash on the internet. But maybe that just me as I wasn't much into politics or because of algorithms of the internet. Backlash doesn't always come in giant waves at first. It has to grow and people should continue fighting even if it seems hopeless. This bill has been beaten before and even if it seems that will pass, I don't think people will let it pass and beat it again. This is just my personal opinion, but want do you think of the doomer post.
My take on a Doomer mindset 🧠💭
I think those people consume a lot on stuff related to KOSA/online "safety bills", etc. and then the algorithms constantly give them negative pulls on their feed. So they fall into a downward spiral on these issues.
It is not good to have a negative mindset about really anything. (If you need to leave and take a break from these issues to recover, I highly recommend you do so. I also do that from time to time and take off weekends on here 👍❤️. Your mental health is SUPER important, and the communities/news behind these issues will still be here when you get back! People have also quit on here over these issues, and I do not blame them. These things can get intense, and not everyone can handle it. Sometimes, people work better when they are on the sidelines working on these issues instead of having a blog surrounding them.)
Let me give people like that a little bit of hope. 🫂❤️
-From what I am seeing, a lot of people are fighting, and it is only growing. I think many people are not super informed about that.
-Did you know KOSA was introduced in the past but then defeated TWICE?
-Did you see all of the groups listed on fightforthefuture.org who are against KOSA? THERE ARE A TON!
-People like Preston Byrne and Netchoice are also taking up the fight on these issues.
-Blacklash does work for some of these sites that want to do age verification. I mean, Discord literally paused their age verfication because there was so much bad backlash against it.
- There are still plenty of politicians against these type of bills/laws, and they will definitely vote no if it comes to them.
- Many online "safety" bills/laws have significant hurdles in the House due to bipartisan free speech and privacy concerns. It still does to this day, which is why it is moving so slowly.
- Even if it passes, you still have time to stop it. It will not all happen at once. It will creep slowly across platforms. Giving people time to give the government backlash and repeal.
(There is a lot more stuff I could give as positives on these issues ,but I will stop there. It would be too much! 😂)
So yeah, DO NOT GIVE UP HOPE! A doomer mindset will get you nowhere. All it does it send you into a spiral of negativity.
(Thank you, Anon, for your ask and statement :) 🙏❤️)
Bruce and Dick except they're the same age and they're brothers
Alfred who is not Bruce’s butler but one of Dick’s circus parents, who is in line to adopt Dick the second his parents fall.
Dick, who hates Bruce the moment they meet at the circus because he’s so rich and polished and fancy, wearing a suit and tie to a circus and he’s there with both of his parents and he looks curious but in that way that everyone is curious when they drive past a crime scene and doesn't seem to care at all.
Alfred, who takes Dick out, maybe a week or two after his parents are dead to go see the movies in an attempt to cheer him up (and its sort of working because Dick has wanted to see this movie for forever but tickets were always so expensive-) and then immediately runs towards the sound of gunshots and both Dick and Bruce’s nights are ruined
Dick and Bruce who despise each other, but Alfred can’t leave that young boy all alone so he adopts him too and they move into a small apartment in Gotham- a compromise as Alfred can’t keep touring with two young children- so Dick gets the small life he’s accustomed to and Bruce gets to stay in his city
Dick and Bruce who are on opposite sides of what they want to do- Dick wants vengeance for his parents deaths, Bruce wants justice.
Bruce and Dick who spend hours antagonizing each other, screaming until their voices are rough, tearing up each others favorite toys and stealing blankets and stuffed animals until there are tears and fists are thrown
A helpless Alfred who doesn't know how to help either of them and spends so much time dropping them off at the local gymnasium because he has to work to keep them alive because Bruce is too young to inherit his fortune so the money goes to the bank for safekeeping and he gets an alimony check for the roof over their heads and nothing else
Dick and Bruce who spend every waking moment together without wanting to, forced to live together and share food and a room and clothes
Bruce, who watches Dick’s routines and tries to mimic them and he fails miserably at first and Dick laughs himself silly, but Bruce is a fast learner, and soon they're teaching each other and they're no longer brothers(not that they ever were)- they’re competitors- challenging each other to run faster, jump higher, flip more
Dick, who mocks Bruce’s Gotham accent and his manners but slowly starts to adopt a little Gotham twang of his own- not intentionally, but it feels natural. It feels like home
And Bruce and Dick who finally, after months of staying home or at the gym, get enrolled in Gotham Academy and placed in separate rooms for the first time in months because Alfred thought it would be better for them to have some space
Dick and Bruce who start to miss, like a limb, their annoying other half who, as much as they hate, they’ve come to rely on to be there as a present. Someone they could take out all their anger on, an outlet.
Dick who gets mocked by his class and bullied relentlessly, called a “street rat” and “orphan trash” and gets tripped every day, until finally one day at recess they start advancing on him and Dick is backing away, tripping over his own feet in a scramble back- and runs right into Bruce, who’s backing away from his own class, who call him “Orphan trash” and “Street whore” and bully him too
And they’re back to back and they make eye contact and suddenly they're no longer enemies, no longer competitors, but brothers
ANd Bruce shouts out “Flying tarantula!” Or whatever other nicknames they started calling their weird gym moves and they’re moving in sync and the bullies are running and they won
Bruce and Dick who start walking home together, and sharing stuff willingly, and make inside jokes and teach each other instead of mock and start acting like annoying brothers instead of mean enemies.
Bruce and Dick who start teaming up to stop other bullies and one day, when they’re a little bit older, maybe 13 or so after a particularly successful fight when Dick is laughing on their way home, talking about how scared those guys looked- Bruce stops him and goes, “I want to keep doing this.” And Dick is like “??? we will, B. No one will get bullied. Not on our watch” and he puffs out his chest and laughs but Bruce is completely serious and he goes “no. Not on the playground, Rob. I mean… in real life.” and Dick laughs, but Bruce is serious, and so he goes serious too. “Okay. Okay B-man. So… what do we do?”
And Bruce takes him to the Manor, in through the secret basement entrance, and they start to plan. They start to plan and they start to train. They scavenge for parts and Bruce meets Lucius Fox, an older gentlemen who has a degree and is smart and is endeared by this little boy, and he starts to teach them how to design things.
Dick isn't much of a tinkerer, but he tests everything Bruce makes, and they start training.
They sew together mismatched outfits, an old leather jacket they found in the lost and found with an old beanie with eye holes cut into it and black sweatpants for Bruce, and a dark green shirt and red swim shorts for dick, a green mask from the dollar store taped over his eyes
And they stop muggings and help an old lady with her groceries and its good but not enough
And thats when Dick meets Barbara, the 15 year old girl who can hack and is a whiz at the computer and he falls in love and she agrees to help them as long as they train her.
And she gets Bruce his money from the bank, through transactions no one can trace, and he gets them better gear and Dick teaches her how to fight
And they watch spy movies and action movies and thrillers and mysteries and Sherlock and they read every book about detectives ever created and Dick practices his magic until he can disappear and teaches Bruce to do it too- after using it once to sneak on him and scared him so badly that he screamed so loud the bats flew down from the caves. (He became Batty from then on[dick hasn't been able to sneak up on him since])
Bruce and Dick who are 15 and who leave home, leaving a note for alfred and some of the leftover money Barbara got them and who tour the globe together, learning to fight and hunt and survive and camping out under the stars together in one tent, huddled together for warmth, and its grueling and painful and their teenage bodies ache with the muscles they’re building, but at least they’re together. At least they have each other.
Bruce and Dick who come home at age 17 and Batman and Robin and Batgirl are born, and they’ve grown over the two years they’ve been gone and Bruce is serious and Dick is funny and they like their dynamic so Bruce takes over the cowl- “Are you sure it’s not too dark? I don't want people to be afraid of me…” “It’s fine, B. You gotta blend into the shadows. Some people should be afraid of you. Besides, its not the outfit that makes someone scary. Its the person wearing it.” and Dick becomes his bird.
Not a hero and a sidekick- but partners. Always and forever.
And sure, Bruce is a little older, a little taller, and sure, they look very similar, and sure, sometimes they’re called father and son, but they stop minding after the fourth and fifth or so time. Well- “I’m not that old.” “yes you are. I can already see the gray hairs-” “Shut up”
And then they’re 20 and they’ve been doing it for a while and Alfred isn't exactly supportive but he doesn't stop them either and Bruce has his family fortune now and Dick is his heir and he meets Selina Kyle at a party and he’s smitten so he shows her his family diamonds and later those same diamonds are stolen and Dick teases him the whole time they chase her but Bruce cant even say anything about Barbara or she’ll hack his phone
And they catch her and she’s charming and Bruce is charmed and Dick is amused and she gives back the diamonds in exchange for his phone number and then they were four
Bruce and Dick who are twenty five and have been doing this a while now and they've been asked to join the Justice League and they’ve both found friends outside of each other but keep coming back to Batman and Robin no matter what and Bruce has a ring picked out and Dick’s waiting for the right moment, out on a date and Bruce is on a solo patrol, about to head home and ask how it went when he finds the wheels are missing off the batmobile.
And a little nine year old Jason is staring up at him with wide, angry eyes. In his defense he never planned on getting Dick and Babs a child as an engagement gift, but a little less than a year passes and soon Batboy is on the street, forever flocked by his shadows, Batman and Robin.
