To bless is a greater blessing than to be blessed

We are blessed to be a blessing. When water passes through a pipe to another place, the pipe gets wet. Not only that, it gets wet first.

We are that pipe. We get the blessing first hand, and the person we bless actually gets it second-hand. To be a blessing is a greater blessing than being blessed!

Proverbs 11:25 says this: "A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed." 

The International Standard Version puts it this way: "A generous person will prosper, and anyone who gives water will receive a flood in return." 

Be generous, be the blessing, be the answer to your own prayers.
