Doug Lindblom, public relations major, grew up 15 miles from campus in Negaunee, Mich. He talked to a variety of alumni from different departments while making his college decision.

Lindblom came into NMU as a public relations major with the guidance of a fellow student. Now, he is involved with the Public Relations Student Society of American (PRSSA) as the firm director. When asked what had been most rewarding with this organization, Lindblom responded:

“Making lasting friendships with students who have gone on to do amazing things in the professional field, as well as with those who are just entering the major. PRSSA has created an awesome network of people that I am extremely lucky to know.”
