My professional opinion

The song ‘Easy’ is indeed sensual but it censors the obvious nudity owing to our cultural prudishness. Perhaps that is the point.

do you think matthew is kind of a prude? or a wet blanket?

I think Matthew is too self-conscious and afraid of making social situations awkward to outwardly be a wet blanket and admit to it/express disapproval toward others, but that said, I do think he's somewhat prudish even if he denies it. I imagine he feels uncomfortable talking about "not safe for work" subjects, especially in front of others. He probably wouldn't talk about it with anyone other than his partner.

I also imagine it takes him a while to warm up to someone enough to feel like he can be intimate with them or speak intimately, and sometimes, that can come off as him seeming like a prude when really he just needs more time to build up trust in the relationship.
