Testing Maintenance fan-comic WIP

This one is kind of old, I halted any progress on it since I struggled with the coloring and I wasn’t sure how to put together the middle. Mel’s written communication is surprisingly difficult to visually format. Long and short of it is an exploration of Mel’s apprehension upon remarrying even if she knows it’s a leagues better relationship than what she had previously. fun fact: I /initially/ had her spouse-to-be of ambiguous gender, but Virgil’s dialogue about both brides makes the scene and setting so succinct that you know what? Fuck it, canon bi Mel yaaayy 🎉🎉❤️💜💙🎉🎉
