Facebook is a social utility that connects people with friends and others who work, study and live around them. People use Facebook to keep up with friends, upload an unlimited number of photos, post links and videos, and learn more about the people they meet.
InstaART encourages participants to demonstrate their creativity by taking photos with their mobile devices and posting these images to their Instagram account with the hashtag #psartmuseum. Museum staff will monitor these posts and select the most inspiring ones to be incorporated into the museum’s Facebook page in a folder labeled “InstaART.” The museum invites everyone to look at these images and share them with their friends and repost the images to other social media accounts. Partcipants are encouraged to be as creative as possible, but avoid violating any limitations about copyrighted material restrictions. Images that are explicit or graphic in nature will not be considered.
