Hi guys so i decided to share this REALLY simple Catching Fire PSD I made and use for almost all of my edits and icons.

Okay so I got a request to do a tutorial for both the graphics in this post. I’m going to post them separately if that’s okay.

This is my first tutorial so bear with me please. And I actually saved my psds this time so this is probably going to go pretty okay.

1. Start off with your original picture, cut out the image you want, and soften up the edges

2. Brighten up your image a bit and then we can really get started.

3. So I lowered the saturation a bit and then used the smudge tool to blur out most of her face. It doesn’t have to be the absolute nicest since we’re gonna put a floral texture over it. I left her mouth, but you don’t have to.

4. Fit your floral texture to the subject’s face. I set the opacity to 60%.

5.  Then I put the image onto the larger texture, erased a bit of the bottom to look more feathery, and added a yellow-ish color fill.

6. Voila! Oh and I got the floral texture from here and the papery one from here
