a term used to describe a being who may appear as human, but is not.
a symbol i made for this term.
note that i did not come up with the term, just the symbol.
using the greek letter for H (heta) and P (pi) i combined the two. the symbol is called heta-pi and is written as ͰΠ
i came across this term, and i find it describes me as a physical nonhuman perfectly, as how my human appearance is a deceiving illusion to myself and others.

Made a flag for one of my identities cuz it didn’t have one yet…
Pseudohuman Flag! Flag by me
[Pseudohuman Flag! Flag by me]
I don’t know who this term was coined by, pls lmk if u can find them :,3
Pseudohuman means that your body and/or behavior at first glance is presumably human in others‘ eyes, but your body more like a vessel or a veil that is not actually human.
Credit if u use the flag pls!! I would be curious to know if anyone wants to use it :0
Meanings of the symbols/colours:
Symbols:
• Wave: the wave represents the spectrum of expression similarly to the visibility of waves, how some of them are visible to the human eye but some just cannot physically be precieved by humans, similarly to how this identity might feel
• Moon: The crescent moon represents how only part of the whole is shown, how nonhuman identity is more than is just to the naked eye, expressing the uniqueness of the Pseudohuman experience.
—————————
Colours:
• Maroon red: feralness and raw animalistic behavior
• purple-reddish light grey: the veil between the human body and the mind
• white: fluidity and transparency
• black: nonhumanity/ahumanity
• white: masking and ”innocence“; „playing along“ to human standards and expectations, like a life-long game of play-pretend of society
• bluish grey: (almost) a feeling of zoochosis; feeling that you are permanently trapped in this tiny limited vessel
pseudohuman flag coining! definition found here and symbol found here! anyone can use this flag if they identify with this term, and credit is not necessary (just don’t claim as your own)
there is the term pseudohuman but I’m not sure if it includes me if I’m not biological? suggesting it bc u can check it out too
coining post for pseudohuman
Hey, that sounds like me!! Thanks a ton! Since the post doesn't specifically mention needing to be physically nonhuman, I think it would be okay for you to use :)
long answer- no member of Canis Constellation is truly human. we do have humanoid appearances, but none of them are 1-1 human. we have the hands/feet/head but with variations [pointed ears, tails, unnatural irises, claws, etc].
our current physical form does present as a perfectly normal human however it does not *feel* human. it feels more like a reconstruction of a human, put together wrong, or some sort of thing spelled into a human body. changeling [Irish mythology] is the best we can describe it.
the most human looking member here is Hycan, but he's got audible tech noises, plug ports behind his ear, and the camera sheen on his eyes.
the cumulative answer is - we are human in the same way a dog wearing a wool sweater is a sheep. does that make sense??
