Before mucha lucha went into production, i read somewhere on the old fwak site, that the crew storybaorded a whole episode around Psiclone (the 4th mascarita and scrapped character) and then i thought of something, if an hypothetical season 4 was made, they could include psiclone as main character (of course, he joins the mascaritas in later eps. tho).

Psiclone was in the first pitch bible and also in a storyboard we did for a pilot episode.
Back then WB Animation had some issues with characters they thought resembled those we created for 'Rudo By Night' and insisted we drop them from Mucha Lucha!: Psiclone (Because he had horns) was thought to be too similar to Rudo Tito...although anyone with any artistic sensibility can see they are miles apart in terms of design. A bunch of others were also dropped at the request of WB Legal...Mesopotamia, Chad From Chad...and they insisted we change Rikochet's head shape because they felt it similar to Mamacita's baby (Chavo Jr) in Rudo By Night.
So, no we hadn't planned on a return for Psiclone, although by season three WB had pretty much calmed down and forgotten about any 'similarities' to Rudo by Night.
