Actual Writing Tip:
Just a quick reminder to all my fellow writers, and other creatives, that perfectionism is the breeding ground for procrastination.
One of the quickest ways to overcome that creative block, and to actually start getting stuff done on your project, is to stop striving for perfection.
No piece of art, no novel, and no music can ever be perfect. No piece of art needs to be perfect.
Strive for passion, enjoyment, and improving yourself instead. Stop thinking and feeling like everything you do needs to be perfect (whole lot easier said than done, but it’s one of the best roadblocks to overcome) .
That might help with the writers (or any type of creative) block (:
Or, ya know, just make a deal with a demon. Same outcome, really, for a whole lot less effort.
